February 10

HARASSMENT...A 52-year-old Losson Garden Apartments man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of harassment. Upon arrival, officers heard a loud argument taking place. Police also observed a female victim attempting to pull away from the man. The man reportedly continued holding the victim before police separated him.

DWI...A 27-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a red light while traveling eastbound on Genesee Street near Transit Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .17. Breath test: .17. A background check revealed that the man's vehicle's insurance had expired.

ASSAULT...A 44-year-old Leni Lane man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man pushed and choked her.

DWI...A 37-year-old Niagara Falls man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Dick Road at 45 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. Police also witnessed the man's vehicle make an illegal U-turn earlier while heading northbound on Dick, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "very slurred" speech. The man reportedly admitted to consuming three beers earlier at a George Urban Boulevard nightclub. Police observed an open beer bottle in a cup holder. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .14. Breath test: refused.

HARASSMENT...A 50-year-old South View Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man grabbed her from behind and pushed her into a dining room wall. The man also allegedly stated, "I'll put your face right through (a kitchen window)."

GRAND LARCENY...A 31- year-old Penora Street, Depew woman was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue department store on a report of a female employee in custody after shoplifting. Upon an officer's arrival, a manager stated that he observed the woman take money from a cash register on two occasions. The woman reportedly admitted to taking money from a cash register 15 times, with an amount totaling $2,050.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 22-year-old Concord Drive man was arrested after police responded to a Concord address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man attempted to take a cellular phone from the residence. When the victim attempted to stop the man, he allegedly threw the phone across the room, and the item struck a table, breaking the phone. The man then allegedly pushed the victim into the table.

February 11 FALSE PERSONATION... A 22-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with darkly tinted windows and a rear license plate that was held by just one bolt. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman denied having a license. The woman also reportedly gave officers a false name and date of birth, and the age she gave contradicted her appearance. A background check revealed the woman's actual identity, as well as the fact that her license was revoked.

POSSESSION...A 53-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle in which the man was a passenger traveling northbound on Harlem Road with an inadequately illuminated license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and during a pat search, an officer located an alleged "crack" pipe in the man's pocket. The man reportedly gave police a false name, but a background check revealed his actual identity and that he had an outstanding bench warrant in Buffalo. During the booking process, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged "crack" cocaine in the man's right front pants pocket.

February 12

LARCENY...A 29-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Thruway Plaza department store on a report of employee theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the man undercharged a customer $176.81 for various items. Police observed the transactions on store surveillance.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 60-year-old Pine Ridge Road man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man was intoxicated and yelled at her. The man also reportedly yelled profanities toward the victim while police were present. He also reportedly interfered with police while officers interviewed the victim, repeatedly using profanity.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 20- year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria department store on a report of two shoplifters in custody. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the women stole 18 pairs of underwear, valued at $130. Police determined that the pair went into changing rooms, put on the underwear under their clothing and walked out of the store.

February 13

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 35-year-old Wellworth Place woman was arrested after police responded to the area of Union Road and Wellworth on a report of an accident in which the woman's vehicle was involved. When police arrived, the woman reportedly used profanity toward officers while several onlookers were present.

AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT... A 54-year-old Tonawanda man was arrested after police responded to a Harlem Road dentist office on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man had recently been discontinued as a regular patient at the office because of past alleged inappropriate touching, gesturing and remarks toward her and other employees at the location. The man had also sent the victim several unwanted packages, including one containing a six-page written complaint toward the victim. Police later located the man at his residence.

LARCENY...A 21-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Union Road department store on a report of employee theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a store manager stated that a week earlier, the man did not charge a customer in purchasing a $330 iPod, as well as various cartridges. Police observed the incident on store surveillance. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Amherst.

TRESPASSING/DISORDERLY CONDUCT...A 21-yearold Boll Street, Sloan woman was arrested after police responded to a Broadway trucking company on a report of an intoxicated female trespassing at the location. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that he heard loud noises coming from a garage area. The complainant then located the woman inside the garage and called police. When officers arrived and asked the woman for her identification, the woman- who was intoxicated- reportedly used profanity and stated, "I had some brewskies earlier with my friends, so what?" The woman then raised her arms in the air in a threatening manner and screamed. Police subdued the woman. During the booking process, the woman reportedly refused to comply with police and had to be handcuffed to a bench.

February 14

POSSESSION...A 23-year-old man, a 19-year-old man and a 22- year-old man, all of Buffalo, as well as a 27-year-old Preston Drive woman, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after a police background check revealed that a vehicle driven by the 23-year-old man, which was traveling eastbound on East Delavan Avenue, had an expired registration. Police also observed several air fresheners hanging from the rearview mirror, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior. Police also observed several alleged marijuana cigars in plain view in an ash tray. The 19-year-old man reportedly made several "fur tive movements" in an attempt to conceal an object. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged "crack" cocaine under the front passenger seat and four alleged marijuana cigars in an ash tray. The 22- year-old man reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth, but officers later found a license displaying the 22-year-old man's actual identification. Officers located $479 in the 23-year-old man's possession, and a background check revealed that the 22-year-old man had an outstanding arrest warrant.

HARASSMENT...A 49-year-old Cayuga Creek Road man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man- who was reportedly intoxicated- threatened two victims, including physical violence toward a male victim. The man also allegedly "got into the faces" of the victims and attempted to instigate an altercation.

FRAUDULENT ACCOSTING... A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to Walden Galleria on a report of an attempt to defraud. Upon arrival, police observed the man- who matched the report's description- in a parking lot. A victim stated that the man had scammed her out of $100, as well as her ring. The victim added that the man had confronted her near her vehicle earlier and asked her to play a gambling game in which the victim had to guess one out of three cups that a ball was under. The man and an accomplice allegedly took part in a phony game that showed easy odds of winning, but when the victim played, the man used a sleight of hand trick to hide the ball, causing the victim lose. Police located $100 in the man's possession, but the man refused to say where his accomplice went.

POSSESSION...A 20-year-old St. Joan Lane man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on French Road without its headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated near Dee Terrace and the man reportedly stated that he had marijuana in a cup that was under the driver's seat. Police located the item.

February 15

POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling on Pine Ridge Road with an inadequate muffler. A traffic stop was initiated, and a background check revealed that the woman had an outstanding arrest warrant in Amherst. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged marijuana in an ash tray.

February 16

DWI...A 27-year-old Rochester man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling westbound on French Road, at 50 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had "slightly bloodshot" eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .16. Breath test: refused.

RESISTING ARREST/ HARASSMENT...A 44-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria clothing store on a report of a male refusing to leave. Upon an officer's arrival, a store manager stated that the man started an argument in the store and began using profanity toward store employees, also becoming agitated toward security guards. The man refused to comply with officers' requests to calm down, adding that he "wanted to buy boots and no one could make him leave." The man later used profanity toward an officer and fought with police, refusing to place his hands behind his back. The man later spat in an officer's face and elbowed another officer in the face in a patrol car. He also kicked another officer in the knees.

POSSESSION...A 38-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after federal Drug Enforcement Agency members and Buffalo police alerted officers that the man was in a vehicle that had approached a known drug house in Buffalo, fleeing onto the Kensington Expressway and then the New York State Thruway. Police located the vehicle, in which the man was a passenger, traveling on the NYS Thruway and initiated a traffic stop. The man reportedly handed an officer five plastic bags containing alleged cocaine.

HARASSMENT...A 25-year-old Alpine Place man was arrested after police responded to a Genesee Street tavern on a report of a disturbance involving a male. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the man had been "getting in her face," using profanity and harassing her. The man also refused to leave the location, giving officers "a hard time" before he was subdued.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 19-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police heard the man yell profanities loudly, one of which involved a lewd act, while he walked through Walden Galleria. The man reportedly made these remarks while several young children were present. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant from the Erie County Sheriff's Office.

POSSESSION...A 41-year-old Pendelwood Drive man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man walking away from a known drug house on Windwood Court. After seeing a patrol car, the man reportedly ran westbound on Windwood before he was apprehended. The man stated he ran because he "had an empty 'crack' bag in his pocket." Police located alleged cocaine residue in a plastic bag in the man's pants pocket.

RESISTING ARREST/DISORDERLY CONDUCT...Two 20- year-old women, a 21-year-old woman, another 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman; all of Buffalo; were arrested after police responded to Walden Galleria on a report of a fight. Upon arrival, police observed the five females being separated by mall security guards. The guards stated that two 20-yearold women and a 21-year-old woman confronted the second 20- year-old woman and the 19-year-old woman outside of a store, leading to an argument and a "physical melee." The females reportedly shouted profanities. While holding her young child, the 21-year-old woman reportedly yelled profanities at officers while onlookers stood nearby, flailing her arms wildly and later wrestling with an officer.

February 9

DWI...An 18-year-old Dean Road, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the area of East Alys Drive on a report of an accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. Upon arrival, police determined that the man's vehicle had struck a sign and a tree on East Alys, and that the man then traveled home. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. The man admitted to consuming a mixed drink at an acquaintance's residence. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco
