Times' Bachelor waits on special lady
Williamsville resident Frank Ciura is hoping the bait he left on the line last week as part of the Times' Bachelor program lands him a great catch.
Ciura, the 36-year-old participant who is a paralegal at an Elma attorney's office and also a licensed realtor- among several interests- is awaiting his female match in the Bachelor program.
Based on last week's article in the Times, Ciura said several people in the Lancaster-Depew area have already confronted him with the "You're single?" question.
"It's a funny thing, to have people come up to you and not know," Ciura told the Times Wednesday. "A lot of people saw it, and others learned secondhand."
As previously reported, Ciura is seeking a female date who is 25-45 years in age, someone who is interested in music, has a wry sense of humor and enjoys various outdoor activities. The Lancaster High School graduate enjoys playing the guitar, shopping, snowmobiling, reading nonfiction novels, watching the History Channel and traveling. And that's not everything.
He also restores homes when time permits and enjoys live bands and concerts. To put it simply, Ciura is a man of many talents.
Interested women are encouraged to send a photograph with personal background information, as well as their reason why they would be a good fit to date the Times' Bachelor. Applications can be sent to the Times' office, located at 343 Maryvale Drive, Cheektowaga, NY 14225. E-mails will be received at mail@cheektowagatimes.com.
The Times' promotion has already sparked much interest from ladies around town.
The deadline for applications is February 11. After a female applicant is selected, she and Frank will enjoy a complimentary dinner at Witinis Restaurant, located at 5809 Broadway in Lancaster. Kristian Witka, a 33-year-old West Seneca East High School graduate, operates the eatery along with his wife, Kim.
For more information about Witinis, call (716) 651-1980.
