DWI...A 33-year-old Tonawanda woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the woman's vehicle- which was traveling northbound on Cayuga Road- at 50 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. The woman's vehicle also swerved between lanes without signaling, and a traffic stop was initiated near the Kensington Expressway. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .11.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 20- year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a French Road address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police determined that the woman pounded and kicked on the front door of the victim's residence. The victim drove his vehicle to a nearby location and called police.
POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on Genesee Street, at 72 miles per hour in a 40 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated, and a background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo. During a pat search, an officer located a small amount of alleged marijuana in the man's right front pants pocket.
ASSAULT...A 22-year-old Hurd Street woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the woman called him a derogatory name and struck him in the head with a curling iron.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 20-year-old man and 19-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police observed a vehicle driven by the 20-year-old traveling on Ivanhoe Road with only one license plate, which was inadequately illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated, but the vehicle continued traveling to East Delavan Avenue before stopping. There, the 20-year-old and 19-year-old- who was a passenger- fled the vehicle and ran through yards on Eggert Road before they were apprehended. A background check revealed that the vehicle's license plate had been stolen earlier from a Buffalo address.
POSSESSION... A 26-year-old Andrews Avenue man, a 24-year-old Vera Avenue man, a 25-year-old West Seneca man and a 21-year-old Tonawanda woman were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a noise complaint at the 24-year-old man's residence. Upon arrival, police observed the 24-year-old man and 25-year-old man passing pills to each other, then attempting to cover the items with a towel. Police located 35 Lortab pills and two cut lines of alleged cocaine on a table, as well as alleged marijuana on top of a television. The woman reportedly acted in a belligerent manner toward officers. Police also located two young children in the residence.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 20-year-old Linda Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police observed the man acting in a belligerent manner and using profanity in front of the residence.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF...A 27- year-old Garland Avenue man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that she and the man had gotten into an argument over the man's alcohol consumption. The man allegedly threw the victim's cellular phone against a wall, breaking it in half.
November 26
POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Lockport man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Aero Drive with an air freshener obstructing the driver's view. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged marijuana in the glove compartment.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 19- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Kenville Road address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a visibly upset victim stated that during an argument, the man threw a baby stroller at the victim's residence, breaking a window.
TRESPASSING...A 28-year-old Lancaster man was arrested after police responded to a Southcrest Avenue address on a report of a male attempting to gain entry into the residence. Upon arrival, police located the man- who matched the report's description- in the back yard. A victim stated that she had been approached by the man while walking on Southcrest. The man allegedly stated that he "had 80 dollars and wanted to score some 'blow'," continuing to beg the victim even after she refused his request. The man later followed the victim and reportedly banged on the front door of her residence before police arrived.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 20- year-old Claudette Court man was arrested after police responded to a Claudette address on a report of an order of protection violation. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man broke her cellular phone. A background check revealed that the victim had an order of protection against the man.
November 27
POSSESSION...A 34-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the woman's vehicle pass through a red light at the intersection of Walden Avenue and Pine Ridge Road. A traffic stop was initiated on Euclid Avenue and a background check revealed that the woman's license was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged "crack" cocaine on the floor near the front passenger's seat.
November 28
POSSESSION...A 24-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Genesee Street for a considerable amount of time in the center lane of traffic while flashing its turn signal. A traffic stop was initiated on Andrews Avenue and police observed in plain view an alleged marijuana cigar on the gear shift. A background check revealed that the man's license was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located six plastic bags containing alleged cocaine in the glove compartment. At police headquarters, an officer located alleged marijuana in the man's coat pocket.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 45- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Sable Palm Drive address on a report of trespassing. Upon an officer's arrival, police observed the man- who matched the report's description- at a victim's residence. A background check revealed that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man.
POSSESSION...A 35-year-old Marne Road man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling northbound on Eggert Road with darkly tinted windows. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly ran southbound from the vehicle on Eggert. While being chased by officers, the woman reportedly threw a plastic bag containing alleged cocaine and a box containing a digital scale and a razor. Police physically subdued the woman near a large fence, where a struggle ensued before the man was sprayed with pepper spray. A background check revealed that the man was on probation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
November 29 POSSESSION...A 27-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after a police background check revealed that the man's vehicle- which was traveling northbound on Eggert Road- had a suspended registration. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged marijuana and alleged cocaine on the floor of the back seat.
DWI...A 44-year-old Beverly, Massachusetts man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and changing lanes without signaling while traveling from Aero Drive onto Holtz Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a "moderate" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had "slightly bloodshot" eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .13.
DRIVING AFTER ALCOHOL CONSUMED...A 20-year-old West Seneca woman was arrested after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling westbound on Broad Street with an inadequately illuminated tail light. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer noticed that the woman had glassy eyes and slurred speech. The woman reportedly stated that she consumed three mixed drinks earlier at a friend's house in Depew, adding that she was under the age of 21. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .06. The woman reportedly used profanity toward police.
THEFT OF SERVICES... A 34- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Gualbert Avenue address on a report of a cab fare disagreement. Upon an officer's arrival, a taxicab driver said that he drove the man from Tonawanda to Cheektowaga for a fare of $38.30. Smith reportedly refused to pay this amount.
FALSELY REPORTING AN INCIDENT...A 39-year-old Slate Creek Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a larceny of two chain saws. After arriving and questioning the man, police determined that the man's story had several discrepancies. The man stated that his two chain saws had been stolen. However, police located the chain saws in the man's work vehicle.
POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Hillpine Road man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a Linda Drive address on a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, an officer observed three alleged "crack" pipes with residue next to the man in a bedroom.
November 30
DWI...A 23-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle drift between lanes while traveling northbound on Union Road. A traffic stop was initiated on Losson Road and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "slightly slurred" speech. The woman reportedly stated that she consumed six mixed drinks earlier at a West Seneca tavern. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .13. Breath test: .12.
POSSESSION...A 34-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a Union Road hotel on a report of a burglary in progress. Police located the man- who matched the report's description- on the first floor and found a pocket knife, as well as 22 small plastic bags containing alleged "crack" cocaine, in the man's pocket.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 20-year-old Pendlewood Drive man and a 19-yearold Claudette Court woman were arrested after police responded to a Claudette address on a report of an unwelcome guest who left the scene. An officer located the man- who matched the report's description- traveling in a vehicle that was heading northbound on Meadow Place. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly stated that a female victim on Claudette had started trouble earlier. However, police located a DVD player- which belonged to the victim- in the back seat of the vehicle. The man admitted taking the item from the location.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue clothing store on a report of shoplifting. Police located the man- who was reportedly involved in the incident- running into a wooded area near Duke Road. A loss prevention manager stated that the man had taken $445 worth of clothing from the store without paying for the items.
POSSESSION...A 41-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the man traveling eastbound on Broadway with its driver's view obstructed. A traffic stop was initiated and the man admitted to earlier purchasing a Hydrocodone pill from a co-worker.
DWI...A 30-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the area of Walden and Randolph avenues on a report of an accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. Upon interviewing the man- who was injured in the crash and treated by local medical personnel- an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage. The man reportedly stated that he consumed two beers earlier. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: unavailable.

PROSTITUTION/POSSESSION... A 43-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a Walden Avenue truck stop on a report of a woman going from vehicle to vehicle and bothering truckers. Upon arrival, police observed the woman- who matched the report's description and is a known prostitute- running westbound toward nearby gas pumps. The woman admitted to having a syringe, and police located two needles containing alleged heroin residue in the woman's possession. An officer also located a spoon in the woman's possession.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 43- year-old Windwood Court man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that Wittman broke a door on a refrigerator. Police located the man at his place of employment on Genesee Street.
DWI...A 39-year-old Boston, New York man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the area of William Street and Harlem Road on a report of reckless driving. Police radar paced the man's vehicle- which matched the report's description and was traveling southbound on Harlem Road- at 55 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: refused. Breath test: .22. A background check revealed that the man had a previous DWI conviction in December 2006, making this arrest a felony.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 48-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, both of East End Avenue, were arrested after police observed a vehicle driven by the man traveling eastbound on East Delavan Avenue with only one license plate and a "very loud" muffler. A background check revealed that the license plate had been stolen earlier and did not match the vehicle on which it was placed. A traffic stop was initiated near the Kensington Expressway, and a background check revealed that the man's license was suspended.
POSSESSION...A 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the 23-year-old traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with a cracked windshield. A traffic stop was initiated and the 22-year-old- who was a passenger- reportedly attempted to conceal an object under the front passenger seat. Police located alleged marijuana in the 22- year-old's pants pocket and under the front passenger seat.
RESISTING ARREST... A 20-yearold Hamburg man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue truck stop on a report of a fight. When police arrived, the man reportedly swung at and pushed an officer. Officers then physically subdued the man.
POSSESSION...A 25-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police stopped the man's vehicle- which was traveling on Union Road- after determining that the man had outstanding arrest warrants in both Amherst and Buffalo. A background check also revealed that the man's license was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, police located 10 plastic bags containing alleged cocaine between the front passenger seat and center console.

POSSESSION/ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD...A 32-year-old Transit Road, Depew man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to the man's address for a loud music complaint. Upon arrival, officers observed several individuals running out of the man's residence, including a 15-year-old male. Police observed several empty beer cans inside the residence, as well as the man, who was "passed out" from alcohol consumption on a couch. Police also observed a 14-year-old male hiding in the bathroom. An officer located two marijuana pipes with residue in the man's pockets.
November 26
DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 47-year-old Lancaster man was arrested after police observed the man talking on a cellular phone while operating his vehicle westbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and the man- who was issued a traffic ticket- reportedly used profanity and stated, "I pay $12,000 in taxes." The man continued to use profanity and refused to place his hands behind his back, flailing his arms wildly.
DWI...A 55-year-old Williamsville man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Terrace Boulevard without a muffler. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test.
DWI...A 21-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Broadway with a sticker covering its rear windows. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and "impaired" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .09.
November 30
RESISTING ARREST.... A 20- year-old Laverack Avenue, Depew woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, the woman stated that a male victim had earlier made racially-motivated remarks toward her. In response, the woman allegedly acted in an "out-ofcontrol manner" toward the victim. After talking to police, the woman reportedly acted in an erratic manner, threatening to jump out of a window and stating, "You don't know what it's like to be me." The woman also used profanity toward police and attempted to push an officer through an open doorway. The woman continued fighting with officers at police headquarters, using racial remarks, as well as kicking a desk and furnace.
POSSESSION/ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD...A 32-year-old Transit Road, Depew man and a 14-year-old Argus Drive, Depew male were arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of underage males consuming alcohol. Upon arrival, police observed the man and several minors- including the 14-year-old- sitting in the living room and holding marijuana pipes. An officer also observed a bag containing unprescribed pills near the 14-year-old.
HARASSMENT...A 24-year-old George Urban Boulevard, Depew man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man threatened to "beat him up" outside. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding bench warrant.
