November 18

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 36-year-old Charles Street man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man grabbed her and broke her cellular phone. The man later allegedly pushed another female victim and also broke her necklace.

POSSESSION...An 18-year-old Leni Lane man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man vomiting in front of a Wellington Road address. Upon approaching the man- who stated he wasn't feeling well-

officers located an alleged marijuana pipe and a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana on the ground next to him.

DWI...A 29-year-old West Seneca woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle heading southbound on Union Road with a flat tire, traveling on a tire rim. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .21. Breath test: .19.

POSSESSION...A 19-year-old French Road man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on French with darkly tinted windows. A traffic stop was initiated and officers observed the man holding an alleged marijuana pipe. During a pat search, police located a small plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the man's right front pants pocket.

DWI/POSSESSION...A 49- year-old Woodlawn Avenue, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man not wearing a seatbelt while operating his vehicle on Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the man's license was suspended. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .24. Breath test: .22. During a pat search, police located three plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in the man's rear pants pocket.

DWI...A 23-year-old Seton Road man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Danbury Drive address on a report of a hit-and-run accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. Upon arrival, police observed the man standing next to his vehicle. The man reportedly stated, "I drove drunk and I crashed." Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and a breath test.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 45-year-old North Maple Drive man was arrested after the man reportedly yelled profanities at an officer who was in a patrol car while the man was intoxicated and walking down the middle of Harlem Road. When an officer advised the man to get out of the roadway, the man reportedly used more profanities and stated, "I can do what I want."

POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Buffalo man and a 21-year-old Pine Circle man were arrested for criminal possession of marijuana after police observed the pair smoking alleged marijuana while sitting in a vehicle on Pine Park. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior. Police also observed in plain view alleged marijuana cigarettes in the center console. During a pat search, an officer located alleged marijuana in both of the men's possessions.

DWI...A 35-year-old Roland Street, Sloan man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle cross over double yellow lines while traveling westbound on Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated near Lackawanna Avenue and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

November 19

DWI...A 23-year-old Rowley Road woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle drift between lanes while traveling westbound on French Road. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman reportedly admitted to consuming beer and shots earlier. An officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage on the woman. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .22. Breath test: .20.

FALSE PERSONATION... A 27-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with inadequately illuminated license plates. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth. A background check revealed the woman's actual identity and that she had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo.

ASSAULT...A 74-year-old Helen Street man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police observed the man and a female victim fighting in the driveway. The man reportedly pushed the victim and later refused to be placed into custody. Police determined that the man had earlier punched the victim, who was taken to Erie County Medical Center.

POSSESSION...A 23-year-old Griffith Street, Sloan man and a 21- year-old Buffalo man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle- driven by the 23- year-old- pass through a stop sign on Lovejoy Street near Atlantic Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and the 23-year-old was unable to produce the vehicle insurance card. During a search of the vehicle, police located 10 Oxycodone pills in a cigarette pack near the front passenger seat, as well as a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana under the driver's seat.

DWI...A 51-year-old West Seneca man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Garden Village Drive address on a report of an accident in which the man's vehicle reportedly struck a utility pole. Police located the man's vehicle in the Union Square Apartments complex, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The man reportedly admitted to consuming alcohol earlier and striking the pole. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .09. Breath test: refused.

POSSESSION...A 19-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on William Street with an inadequately illuminated tail light. A traffic stop was initiated on R.V. Derenda Lane and the man and three passengers reportedly told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. Police then located alleged marijuana in the center console.

November 20

POSSESSION...A 24-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue without a front license plate. A traffic stop was initiated near Alexander Avenue and a background check revealed that French's license was suspended. During a pat search, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the man's possession.

POSSESSION...A 38-year-old Tonawanda man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling northbound on Eggert Road with a cracked tail light. A traffic stop was initiated and an officer observed a "chore boy" rolled up on the front passenger seat. During a pat search, an officer located two alleged "crack" pipes in the man's pants pockets.

November 21

ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD...A 41-yearold Wells Avenue woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a female victim stated that the woman slammed the door in her and her son's faces. The woman then allegedly used profanities and varsious degatory sexual insults toward the victim in front of her son, as well as stating, "You're a fat cow."

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 27-year-old Lancaster man was arrested after a victim reported at police headquarters that the man had sent several threatening text messages and e-mails to her. A background check revealed that the victim had a do-not-contact order of protection against the man. Police later located the man at his residence.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/ HARASSMENT...A 29-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria store on a report of criminal mischief involving the man. Upon an officer's arrival, a store manager stated that the man damaged a store item and screamed profanities and religious beliefs, later flipping over tables and throwing around merchandise. After fleeing the store, the man reportedly attempted to abduct a young child from a woman and then threatened to "kill" a sales associate, jumping over a cash register. After being handcuffed, the man reportedly shouted various profanities, also using racial insults toward officers. The man also attempted to kick officers and banged his head against a center partition in a patrol car. At police headquarters, the man reportedly challeged an officer to a fight before entering a jail cell.

November 22

POSSESSION...A 36-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for possession of a hypodermic instrument after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound in the center lane of Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly dumped a hypodermic needle out of a window.

DWI...A 34-year-old Erie Avenue, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Dick Road address on a report of an erratic driver. Police observed the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, traveling at approximately 70 miles per hour in a 50 mph speed zone on the Kensington Expressway. A traffic stop was initiated and the man was unable to produce his vehicle registration. Police also located two children who were not wearing seatbelts in the back seat of the vehicle. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .31. Breath test: .27. A background check revealed that the man had a previous DWI conviction in Jully 2004, making this arrest a felony.

November 23

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 40-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria store on a report of a tire slashing. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated that he observed the man slash a vehicle's tires in the parking lot. Police located the man in the mall, and a victim stated the man had slashed her tires following a dispute over a parking spot.

POSSESSION...A 27-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after the man was taken to a jail cell following a court case. During a pat search, an officer located alleged marijuana in the man's rear right pants pocket.

DWI...A 49-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after the woman's vehicle struck a patrol car after swerving onto the wrong side of the roadway while traveling on East End Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected an "overwhelming" odor of an alcoholic beverage. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

November 24

LARCENY/FALSE PERSONATION... A 31-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue clothing store on a report of shoplifting. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the woman took a $99 jacket and exited the store without paying for the item. The complainant then apprehended the woman. The woman reportedly gave police a false middle initial and date of birth, but a background check revealed her actual identity and that she had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo.

LARCENY...A 19-year-old Clarence woman was arrested after police responded a Walden Galleria department store on a report of employee theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a loss prevention manager stated that the woman, who was an employee at the store, had stolen $336 worth of store items during "the last couple of weeks."

November 19

RESISTING ARREST...A 22- year-old Transit Road woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police heard the woman use profanity and say, "Get off my property." The woman later reportedly fought with police and refused to be handcuffed.

November 20

DWI...A 49-year-old Henrietta man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a red light while traveling northbound on Transit Road. A traffic stop was initiated near Olmstead Avenue and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .17. Breath test: .19.

November 25

POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Main Street address to execute an arrest warrant. Upon arrival, police observed the man in a bedroom which also contained several "roaches" in an ash tray, as well as a "bong" with alleged marijuana residue in a closet.
