POSSESSION...A 27-year-old Lackawanna woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a Claudette Court address on a report of a vehicle speeding while its horn sounded. Police located the woman's vehicle, which matched the report's description, traveling on George Urban Boulevard near Patrick Lane. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman was reportedly unable to produce her license. Police located in the woman's wallet four plastic bags containing alleged cocaine, a push rod and two alleged "crack" pipes. During a search of the vehicle, officers located two syringes, Valium and Klonopin pills, cotton and a spoon.
POSSESSION...A 37-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Harlem Road with a loud muffler and an inadequately illuminated license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly acted in a nervous manner, unable to produce his vehicle's insurance card. The man also reportedly admitted to having a "crack" pipe under the driver's seat, handing the alleged item to an officer.
DWI...A 51-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the woman's vehicle, which was traveling southbound on Harlem Road, at 65 miles per hour in a 40 mph speed zone. The woman's vehicle also reportedly swerved out of its lane, and a traffic stop was initiated near William Street. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had slurred speech. The woman reportedly stated that she consumed four mixed drinks earlier at a Dick Road tavern. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .20. Breath test: .14.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/TRESPASSING... A 26-year-old Seton Road woman was arrested after police responded to a Slate Creek Drive address on a report of an unwelcome guest. Upon arrival, police observed the woman, who not only matched the report's description but also had blood on her hands and knees. Officers determined that the woman entered a victim's residence by breaking a window, and injuring herself in the process.
DWI...A 50-year-old Donlen Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Genesee Street address on a report of an erratic driver. Upon arrival, police observed the man's vehicle- which matched the report's description- in a parking lot with a flat tire and running engine. After officers approached the vehicle, the man reportedly stated that he didn't have his license and that his vehicle had struck a curb. Police detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on the man and noticed the man had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .06.
FALSELY REPORTING AN INCIDENT...A 22-year-old Olcott Place woman was arrested after police were flagged down by the woman at an Avery Place address. The woman reportedly stated that a male had stolen her purse and a soda, which she claimed she had just bought at a local convenience store. However, police determined from the convenient store staff that no soda had been bought recently. The woman later admitted that she fabricated the robbery story in order to obtain a police report to give to her landlord in explanation for her not making recent payments.
POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a red light while traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated near Hedwig Avenue and the man was unable to produce his license. A background check revealed that the man's license was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, police located a loaded pistol under the front passenger seat. Officers also located a bag containing alleged "crack" cocaine in the back seat of a patrol car in which the man had been sitting. A background check revealed that the pistol had been stolen in North Carolina.

DWI...A 22-year-old Donald Drive woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with inadequate brake lights. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the woman's license was suspended. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The woman reportedly stated that she consumed "a few" mixed drinks earlier. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .11.

ROBBERY...A 55-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Thruway Plaza department store on a report of a shoplifter fighting with a store manager. Upon arrival, police observed the manager forcibly restraining the man. The manager reportedly stated that the man concealed several tubes of toothpaste in his jacket and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. The man allegedly ignored the manager's requests for him to stop, pushing the manager into a display of glass jars. The manager then tackled the man and held him until police arrived.
POSSESSION/TRESPASSING... An 18-year-old Buffalo man, a 17-yearold Buffalo male, a 14-year-old male, two 13-year-old males and a 12-year-old male were arrested after police responded to an Avery Place address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim- who lives upstairs at the residence- said that the six males forced their way into the lower apartment. After police arrived, the six males reportedly ran from the location but were apprehended by officers. Police located alleged marijuana and a pair of metal knuckles in the 17-year-old's possession.
POSSESSION...A 42-year-old Alden man, a 21-year-old Lancaster man and a 26-year-old Idylwood Drive were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle, in which the three were passengers, traveling southbound on Union Road without its headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was unable to produce his license or vehicle registration. The passengers reportedly told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. An officer detected an odor of alleged marijuana on the 42-year-old. During a pat search, police located a syringe in the 26-yearold's left sock and an alleged "crack" pipe in the 21-year-old's belt loop. During a search of the vehicle, officers located an alleged "crack" rock on the back seat near which the 21-year-old had been sitting, as well as an alleged marijuana pipe, 10 Diazepam pills and one Suboxone pill in a cooler near the 42- year-old.

POSSESSION... A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on William Street with license plates that were not illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed in plain view an alleged marijuana stem on the floor. During a search of the vehicle, police located an alleged marijuana pipe and a plastic container with alleged marijuana, both in a bag under the front passenger seat.
DWI/FALSE PERSONATION... A 45-year-old woman and 47-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police observed a vehicle driven by the woman swerving between lanes while traveling northbound on Harlem Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .09. During a search of the vehicle, police located an open bottle of brandy and a cup containing an alcoholic beverage. The man reportedly gave police a false name, but a background check revealed his actual identity and that he had six outstanding arrest warrants in Buffalo.
POSSESSION...A 27-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Eggert Road with its driver's view obstructed. A traffic stop was initiated and the man was unable to produce his license. Police observed in plain view alleged marijuana near the man's feet. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged "crack" cocaine in the center console and an alleged marijuana cigar under the front passenger seat. The man reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth, but a background check revealed the man's actual identity and that he had an outstanding arrest warrant in Cheektowaga.
DWI/POSSESSION...A 24-year-old Tonawanda woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling westbound on Genesee Street with an expired inspection sticker. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman was unable to produce her license. A background check revealed that the woman's license was suspended. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .09. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged cocaine residue inside a rolled-up dollar bill, as well as a pipe containing alleged marijuana in the center console.
POSSESSION...A 25-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police stopped a vehicle, in which the woman was a passenger, for a traffic infraction. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers observed alleged cocaine under the woman's nostrils and located alleged cocaine in the woman's purse. The woman reportedly admitted to snorting a "small amount" of cocaine earlier.
SOLICITING WITHOUT A PERMIT...A 21-year-old Lemont, Illinois man was arrested after police responded to a Blick Street, Sloan address on a report of a male soliciting without a permit. Upon arrival, police observed the man attempting a sell a resident natural gas. The man, however, was unable to produce a Sloan peddler's permit.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A
WEAPON... A 20-year-old Buffalo was arrested after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Broadway without its headlights or tail lights illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and the man was unable to produce his license. During a pat search, an officer located a "billy club" in the man's belt loop.
POSSESSION...A 36-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle parked sideways in a Walden Avenue store parking lot after store hours. Upon approaching the vehicle, police observed the man inside, and a background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Amherst. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged marijuana in a cigarette pack in the glove compartment.

DWI...A 27-year-old Slate Creek Drive woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle swerve slightly between lanes while traveling westbound on George Urban Boulevard. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy eyes and slurred speech. The woman reportedly stated that she had consumed four mixed drinks at a Dick Road tavern earlier. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .15. Breath test: refused. A background check revealed that the woman's license was suspended.
POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL UNDER THE AGE OF 21...A 20-yearold Orchard Park man was arrested after police responded to the area of Borden Road and North Prince Drive on a report of an accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. Upon arrival, police located an open bottle of vodka on the floor of the man's vehicle. The man then admitted to being under the age of 21.
LARCENY...A 45-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue department store on a report of employee theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the woman undercharged a male $350 in store items. A background check revealed that the woman had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo.
POSSESSION...A 31-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Broadway with darkly tinted windows and inadequate brake lights. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo. During a search of the vehicle, police located three plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in a driver's side door panel.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 19-year-old Woodell Avenue man was arrested after police heard the man, who was walking eastbound on Walden Avenue, use profanity while several children were in close proximity.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 31- year-old Claudette Court man was arrested after police responded to a Claudette address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, an officer observed the man, who reportedly stated that he was picking up some personal items with a police escort. However, a victim at the residence said the man had made several unwanted calls to her earlier. A background check revealed that the victim had an order of protection against the man. The document prohibits telephone calls.
POSSESSION...A 36-year-old Linda Drive woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after a witness reported to police that the woman was begging for money while walking on Union Road. Upon approaching the woman, an officer located an alleged "crack" pipe in her possession.
POSSESSION...A 38-year-old man, a 42-year-old man and a 44-year-old man, all of Buffalo, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 42-year-old traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with an inadequate muffler and with an air freshener obstructing the driver's view. A traffic stop was initiated and the vehicle's occupants reportedly told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. With assistance from a K-9 unit, police located alleged "crack" cocaine in a backpack.
November 2
DWI...A 29-year-old Pendleton man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Clinton Street without its headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated on Pleasant Parkway and the man reportedly stated that he consumed "at least" 10 beers earlier at a party, adding that he "shouldn't have been driving." An officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage on the man and noticed theman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "very slurred" speech. Police also located an open beer can in an arm rest. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test.
TRESPASSING...A 30-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to Walden Galleria on a report of public indecency. Upon an officer's arrival, a mall security guard stated that he observed the man and a female having sex in a vehicle that was parked in a store parking lot after hours. When the guard asked the two to leave, the man reportedly drove away from the location and returned a short time later. When the guard again asked the two to leave, the man allegedly told the guard he'd give him $10 if he "left him alone." The man later reportedly jumped out of his vehicle and yelled at the guard. The man also reportedly made obscene gestures toward police officers.
RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT... A 39-year-old Laurentian Drive man was arrested after police were flagged down by a victim at a Genesee Street address. The victim reportedly stated that the man had earlier challenged him to a fight. The victim added that he had stopped at the man's residence, where the man allegedly became enraged and chased him in his vehicle. The man's vehicle reportedly cut in front of the victim's vehicle several times, then traveled at the victim's vehicle head on, forcing the victim to swerve onto a lawn to avoid contact. The man allegedly got out of his vehicle and "chest-bumped" the victim.

DWI...A 23-year-old Amherst man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Princess Drive address on a report of a hitand run accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man's vehicle struck her vehicle, then fled the location by speeding through red lights and swerving. Police located the man's vehicle traveling on the Kensington Expressway, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .17.
DWI...A 27-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle fail to make a complete stop at a stop sign while traveling southbound on Holtz Drive. A traffic stop was initiated on the Kensington Expressway and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had "slightly bloodshot" eyes and "slightly slurred" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .14.
GRAND LARCENY...A 24-yearold Alden man was arrested after police responded to the Walden Avenue Super Flea on a report of a larceny. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the man took $3,000 worth of merchandise from his card stand display. The complainant then chased and apprehended the man, holding him before police arrived.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 21- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a George Urban Boulevard address on a report of a fight involving the man. Upon arrival, police determined that the man and the victim had gotten into a verbal argument. However, a background check revealed that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man.

Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man came to her residence to pick up his property. A background check revealed that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man. Police observed the man operating his vehicle on Randolph, and a traffic stop was initiated. A background check also revealed that the man's license was suspended.

Police stopped the bicycle and located four plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in the man's right front pants pocket.
