DWI...A 33-year-old Brant woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle drift between lanes several times while traveling eastbound on Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman reportedly stated that she consumed three beers at a local tavern. An officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage eminating from the woman and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .13. Breath test: .12.
POSSESSION...A 29-year-old Westland Parkway man and an 18- year-old Lackawanna woman were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police stopped a vehicle driven by the man, which was traveling northbound on Pine Ridge Road, for a traffic infraction. The man was unable to produce his license, which a background check revealed was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged cocaine under the driver's seat. Police also located alleged marijuana in the woman's purse and alleged marijuana in the man's shorts.
POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police detected an odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle at the Walden Avenue Super Flea. The man, who was in the driver's seat of the vehicle, reportedly saw the patrol car and drove the vehicle quickly westbound on Walden. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly admitted to having marijuana in his sneaker, where police located the item.
TRESPASSING...An 18-yearold Hitchcock Drive man was arrested after police responded to a Borden Road church on a report of several males trespassing. Upon arrival, police observed the 18-yearold, a 17-year-old Genesee Street male and two 15-year-old males- who matched the report's description- inside a fenced-in playground area on church grounds.
October 8
DWI...A 23-year-old Lockport man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerving between lanes several times while traveling westbound on William Street. A traffic stop was initiated near Richard Drive and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The man reportedly stated that he consumed three beers at a Walden Avenue tavern. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .14. Breath test: .14.
POSSESSION...A 28-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle- in which the man was a passenger and traveling southbound on Dick Road- with license plates that were not illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and police located a box containing alleged marijuana under the front passenger's seat. The man admitted owning the item.
POSSESSION...Two 19-year-old Buffalo men were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the second 19-year-old traveling westbound on Galleria Drive with a license plate that was not illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and the second 19-year-old was unable to produce his license. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged marijuana in the glove compartment.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 19-year-old Lackawanna man was arrested after police responded to a Cayuga Creek Road address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police determined that the man damaged a victim's vehicle by breaking both side mirrors and scratching the driver's side door. The man later turned himself in at police headquarters.

ASSAULT... A 54-year-old Straley Avenue man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man punched her several times and slammed her against a wall.
POSSESSION...A 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both of Springville, as well as a 30-year-old man and 24-year-old man, both from Amherst; were arrested for criminal possession of marijuana after police responded to Walden Galleria on a report of marijuana possession. Upon arrival, police observed the four males- who matched the report's description- in a vehicle that was parked near the mall. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior. An officer noticed a pipe containing alleged marijuana in plain view on the floor near the front seats. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged marijuana in a shoe between the front seats, as well as a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana under clothing near the center console.
DWAI BY DRUGS/POSSESSION... A 36-year-old Tonawanda woman was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the area of Genesee Street and the New York State Thruway on a report of a bicyclist struck. Upon arrival, police observed the woman- whose vehicle reportedly struck the bicyclist- near her vehicle. An officer noticed that the woman had glassy eyes and slurred speech. The woman later said that she was trying to hide several Soma pills, which police located on the floor of the vehicle near the driver's seat. A background check revealed that the woman had previous DWI convictions in 1991 and 2002, making this arrest a felony.
TRESPASSING...A 40-year-old West Seneca man was arrested after police responded to a French Road address on a report of a male threatening to shoot someone. Upon an officer's arrival, several witnesses stated that the man used profanity and said, "The next (person) who comes through the door to evict us, I'm going to blow them away." The man also reportedly stated, "I'm going home to polish my shotgun." The landlord stated that the man did not have permission to be at the loca tion.
RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT... A 50-year-old Meadow Place man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man got on top of her and choked her, later throwing a telephone at her. The man then left the address but returned after police arrived.
HARASSMENT...A 75-year-old Evergreen Place woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the woman used profanity toward her and her acquaintance, also stating, "I would hit you with my car."
POSSESSION...A 24-year-old George Urban Boulevard man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with darkly tinted windows and a fractured windshield. A traffic stop was initiated and the man could not produce his license. During a pat search, an officer located two bags containing alleged marijuana in the man's possession.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 28-year-old Diane Drive man was arrested after police responded to a Sable Palm Drive address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man refused to leave her address earlier for a considerable amount of time before exiting the residence. A background check revealed that the victim had an order of protection against the man. The man later returned to the residence and was taken into custody.
POSSESSION...A 33-year-old Claudette Court man and a 19-yearold Buffalo man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police stopped a vehicle driven by the 33-year-old, which was traveling on Dick Road, for a traffic infraction. The 33-year-old reportedly stated that he had marijuana in his possession, and police located the item in his possession. A background check revealed that the 33-year-old's license was suspended.
POSSESSION...A 55-year-old Williamstown Court man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Williamstown address on a report of a larceny. Upon arrival, police determined that the man and a female were involved in the incident. During a pat search, an officer located four bags containing alleged marijuana in the man's front pants pocket.

ASSAULT...A 20-year-old Hillpine Road man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a female victim stated that the man "hit and kicked her." The female victim added that the man pushed her and a male victim, also punching the male victim several times in the mouth. The man also allegedly picked up a butcher knife and threatened to "kill everyone."
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 38-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Harlem Road tavern on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a bartender stated that the man kicked a door, causing approximately $200 in damage. The bartender also alleged that the man had been advised the previous night to not return to the location because of a previous incident in which he was involved. Police located the man at his residence.
October 11
POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Randy Way man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a red light while traveling from Genesee Street onto Harlem Road. The man's vehicle also reportedly had a loud muffler, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the interior. The man reportedly admitted to having a pipe containing marijuana, which police located in his pants pocket along with 12 Hydrocodone pills, a leather case containing alleged marijuana and a straw. The man reportedly stated that he was "addicted to Hydrocodone pills," and that he "snorts them." During a search of the vehicle, an officer located six plastic bags containing alleged marijuana and an alleged marijuana pipe.
DWI...A 51-year-old Clarence man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerve and flash its headlights on and off while traveling eastbound on Aero Drive near an adult entertainment club. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .11.
LARCENY...A 19-year-old Mapleview Road woman was arrested after police responded to a Union Road restaurant on a report of employee theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a manager stated that for approximately one month, the woman made more than $600 worth of invalid transactions by not charging certain customers for their meals.
October 12
DWI...A 24-year-old Temple Drive woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle swerve between lanes several times while traveling southbound on Dick Road. Police radar also paced the woman's vehicle traveling at 50 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The woman reportedly stated that she consumed four beers in one and one-half hours earlier. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .17. Breath test: refused.
POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police stopped a vehicle- in which the man was a passenger and traveling eastbound on Genesee Street- for a traffic infraction. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority bench warrant. The man later stated that he had a bag of marijuana in his left inside coat pocket, where police located the item.
GRAND LARCENY...A 22- year-old Orchard Park man was arrested after police responded to a Transit Road department store on a report of employee theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the man made a total of $1,435 worth of invalid adjustments to the cash register and took cash.
DWI...A 44-year-old Steven Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the area of French Road and Randy Way on a report of a hitand run accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. Police located the man's vehicle- which had significant front-end damage- traveling eastbound on Samantha Drive. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .18. Breath test: .14.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 32- year-old New Rochelle woman was arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria store on a report of theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the woman took a $42 bottle of cologne from a counter and fled the location. Officers located the woman in a nearby store.

ASSAULT...A 46-year-old Union Road man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police heard a victim screaming for help and then observed the man choking a victim. The man also reportedly pinned the victim against a refrigerator and also punched and kicked the victim.
MENACING/CRIMINAL CONTEMPT...A 29-year-old Normandy Avenue woman was arrested after police responded to a Normandy address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the woman had threatened to "kill and shoot her." Police located a rifle in the woman's residence. A background check revealed that the victim had three different orders of protection against the woman.

UNLAWFUL DEALING WITH A CHILD/POSSESSION... An 18-year-old Main Street, Depew man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a loud party involving marijuana use. Upon arrival, police observed several minors inside the residence, along with several open beer and liquor bottles. Te man reportedly stated that he rents the apartment and "told everyone to bring their own alcohol or $5." An officer located a pipe containing alleged marijuana and several Klonopin pills in the man's bedroom.
