OPERATING A VEHICLE AFTER CONSUMING ALCOHOL UNDER AGE OF 21...A 19-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling erratically while heading westbound on the Kensington Expressway. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy eyes and slurred speech. A background check revealed that the woman's license had been revoked. The woman reportedly stated that she consumed two mixed drinks and had another one in her vehicle, which police located in a mug. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .07.

DWI...A 23-year-old Lordan Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle drift over a shoulder lane and nearly strike a curb while traveling eastbound on Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly stated that he was coming from a George Urban Boulevard tavern. The man also reportedly said that he had "too much to drink," including six beers in 2-3 hours. Police observed vomit on the driver's side door. An officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "very slurred" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 53-year-old Harlem Road man was arrested after police responded to a Harlem address on a report of a disturbance involving the man. Police located the man- who matched the report's description- confronting a large group of individuals on Windwood Drive. The man reportedly accused the group of "stealing his bush." The man then reportedly yelled profanities and racial slurs. The man also reportedly challenged officers, stating, "Come on, I'll take all of you on."

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... An 18- year-old Dubonnet Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man had used profanity and had punched walls throughout the residence. Police later located the man in Dartwood Park.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 36- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Viola Drive address- the residence of his ex-wife- on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, the man's ex-wife stated that he called their young daughter and made several accusatory remarks about the victim. A background check revealed that the ex-wife has an order of protection against the man, a document that states the man cannot make disparaging remarks about the ex-wife.

October 1

RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT... A 41-year-old Walden Avenue woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of an intoxicated, unruly woman. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated that the woman, who was reportedly intoxicated, had slapped a male victim during an argument. The woman reportedly pushed and shoved a victim while in the kitchen. When the witness attempted to call police, the victim grabbed his neck and choked him.

AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT... A 46-year-old Arthur Musarra Parkway man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that on the previous day, the man had called her 12 times and threatened to kill her, her daughter and her daughter's child. The man later reportedly threw the victim's clothes outside of the residence and called her several derogatory names. He also allegedly closed a door on the victim, hitting her on the chest. The man later reportedly threatened to kill police if they showed up. Officers located the man- who was reportedly intoxicated- hiding under a blanket on a bed. The man then reportedly lunged at officers before he was sprayed with pepper spray and subdued.

POSSESSION...A 28-year-old Arcade man, a 31-year-old East Otto man and a 39-year-old Springville man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 28-year-old swerve between lanes while traveling eastbound on Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed open beer cans near the feet of the the 31-yearold and 39-year-old. Officers located alleged "crack" cocaine on the floor near the front passenger's seat.

MENACING/TRESPASSING... A 19-year-old man, a 46-year-old man and a 17-year-old male; all of Walden Avenue; as well as an 18-year-old Hoerner Avenue man, were arrested after police responded to a Hoerner Avenue address on a report of trespassing. Upon arrival, police determined that the four had damaged the residence. A victim stated that the four males had threatened him with physical violence, adding that the 18- year-old had pointed an object that appeared to be a gun at him. Officers observed broken windows at the residence.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... An 18-year-old Garland Avenue man, a 16- year-old Celina Street, Sloan male and a 16-year-old Medina Street male were arrested after police responded to Wrazen Street on a report of males blocking traffic near Wrazen Park. Upon arrival, police observed the 18-year-old and the two 16-year-olds standing in the middle of the road, blocking a vehicle from passing.

TRESPASSING...A 19-year-old Genesee Street man was arrested after police responded to a Beach Road restaurant on a report of an ex-employee trespassing. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that he fired the man three weeks prior and told him to not come back. However, the man allegedly returned that day and refused to leave.

October 2

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 32- year-old Marne Road man and a 36- year-old Buffalo man were arrested after police responded to a Kenville Road address on a report of a vehicle breakin. Police observed a broken window and damaged stereo in a victim's vehicle. Through an investigation, police determined that the men, who were traveling in a vehicle on East Delavan Avenue near Marne, were responsible for the breakin. A traffic stop was initiated and the two were apprehended.

POSSESSION...A 41-year-old Genesee Street woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after the woman flagged down a patrol car while walking on Genesee near Harlem Road. The woman, who was reportedly intoxicated, complained to officers about walking home with her husband. During a pat search, police located a pipe containing alleged "crack" cocaine in the woman's right jacket pocket.

FALSE PERSONATION/ POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Kenville Road address on a report of a vehicle break-in. Police observed the man, who matched the report's description, traveling in a vehicle that was heading southbound on Marne Road. A traffic stop was initiated and during a pat search, police located alleged marijuana in the man's left front pants pocket. The man reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth, but a background check revealed the man's actual identity and that he had an outstanding bench warrant in Buffalo.

DWI...A 48-year-old Clarence man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on the Kensington Expressway, at 65 miles per hour in a 50 mph speed zone. The man's vehicle also weaved between lanes several times, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

POSSESSION...A 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 23-yearold traveling on Galleria Drive with darkly tinted windows. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed alleged marijuana on the 23-year-old's lap. The 23-year-old admitted to having a marijuana cigarette in the center console, where police located the alleged item. Police located $2,730 in the 22-yearold's possession. During a search of the vehicle, police located a package containing 33 bags of alleged "crack" cocaine in the center console, as well as a package containing 54 bags of alleged marijuana under the front passenger seat.

October 3

POSSESSION/DWI...A 28-year-old Bellevue Avenue, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Broadway with a rear license plate that was not illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed an open beer container under the driver's seat. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .14. Breath test: .14. During a search of the vehicle, police located three Hydrocodone pills in the center console.

HARASSMENT...A 71-year-old Linda Drive man was arrested after police responded to a Linda address on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man

    POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police arrived at a Union Road carpet store to execute a search warrant for the man. After locating the man and taking him into custody, police found a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in his possession. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Tonawanda.

    CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON...A 41-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police observed that the man's vehicle did not stop for traffic markings while traveling on Genesee Street. A traffic stop was initiated near Vegola Avenue and a background check revealed that the man's license had been revoked. During a search of the vehicle, police located a switchblade knife.

    GRAND LARCENY...A 19-yearold Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Union Road store on a report of fraud. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the woman copied a victim's credit card number and used it to open a false account, spending approximately $500. The victim stated that the woman did not have her permission to use her credit card number.

    POSSESSION...A 24-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the 24-year-old having a loud exhaust system while traveling eastbound on Genesee Street. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior. A background check revealed the 24- year-old had an outstanding bench warrant in Buffalo. During a search of the vehicle, police located two plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in a driver's side door panel, as well as two burnt alleged marijuana cigarettes.

    STALKING...A 37-year-old Zent Court man was arrested after police responded to a Thruway Plaza store on a report of a man attempting to lure a young female child away from her mother. Upon an officer's arrival, the mother stated that a man- later determined to be the 37-year-old man- had attempted to lure her eight-year-old daughter away from her. The child said the man had looked at her earlier in a video section of the store and gestured toward her with his hands, saying, "Come here." The child then ran to her mother, who then saw the man run away. However, the mother saw the man a short time later behind her and the child in an aisle. The mother informed store security, and police located the man outside the store. The man reportedly attempted to flee police in the parking lot before he was apprehended.

    October 4

    POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Eggert Road with only one headlight illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated near the Kensington Expressway, and the man reportedly couldn't produce his vehicle insurance or registration cards. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged marijuana.

    POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Harlem Road with an inadequate muffler. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly told conflicting accounts about his previous whereabouts. During a pat search, police located a knife on the man's belt, as well as 30 Hydrocodone pills in a small package in the man's pocket.

    POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Ellwood Place man and a 23-year-old Mildred Drive man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a George Urban Boulevard gas station on a report of suspicious males. Upon arrival, police observed the men- who matched the report's description- in a vehicle that was parked behind a pumping station. An officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior. The men reportedly told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged marijuana on the floor near the passenger's seat.

    October 5

    POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Buffalo man and a 21-year-old Haller Avenue man were arrested after police observed a vehicle driven by the Buffalo man traveling on Wildy Street without a front license plate and with just one headlight illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and the Buffalo man was unable to produce his license. During a search of the vehicle, police located a loaded revolver that was stuffed into a back seat cushion, as well as $870. During a pat search, officers located alleged cocaine and alleged marijuana in both of the men's possessions.

    POSSESSION...A 35-year-old Tonawanda man and a 50-year-old Woodell Avenue man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 35-year-old turn from Walden Avenue onto Gualbert Avenue without signaling. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed alleged "crack" cocaine on the floor near the front passenger's seat. A background check revealed that the 35-year-old's license was suspended.

    AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT... A 61-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Steven Drive address on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim played police several threatening voicemails that the man had left on his answering machine. In one message, the man reportedly threatened to "sodomize" the victim, also using profanities in other messages. Police located the man at his residence.

    DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 25-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a church bingo hall on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police determined that the woman lunged at a victim and pushed and punched her.

    SOLICITING WITHOUT A PERMIT...A 19-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Vern Lane address on a report of a peddler. Upon arrival, police observed the man talking to a resident. Police determined that the man did not have a Town Peddler's Permit.

    POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Fairhaven Drive man was arrested for criminal possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Broadway with an air freshener obstructing its driver's view. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly told conflicting accounts of his previous whereabouts. Police observed a small amount of alleged marijuana on the front passenger's seat. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located two plastic bags containing alleged marijuana on the floor near the front passenger seat.

    POSSESSION...Two 43-yea-rold Amherst men were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the first 43-year-old pass several vehicles in an unsafe manner while traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the second 43-year-old's license had been suspended. During a pat search, the second 43-year-old reportedly elbowed an officer before he was subdued. Police located a plastic bag containing alleged cocaine in the second 43-year-old's pocket.

    ASSAULT...A 22-year-old North Tonawanda woman was arrested after police responded to an Aero Drive adult entertainment club on a report of an assault. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that following a financial dispute and after he called the woman a thief, the woman punched him in the nose, breaking it.

    POSSESSION...A 26-year-old man, two 19-year-old men and an 18-year-old man, all of Buffalo, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a suspicious vehicle- in which the four were occupants- in a Garden Village Drive parking lot. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged cocaine in an ash tray and alleged marijuana in an arm rest.

    AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT... A 50-year-old Carefree Lane woman was arrested after police responded to a Carefree address on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that on the previous day, the woman- who was reportedly intoxicated- had made several unwanted telephone calls to him, even after he had asked her to stop doing so.

    DWI...A 41-year-old man and a 41- year-old woman, both of Yvette Drive, were arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed a vehicle driven by the man turn from Broadway onto a Harlem Road access road without signaling. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot eyes and "slightly slurred" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused. A background check revealed that the man had a previous DWI conviction in July 1998, making this arrest a felony. Police also located a pipe and alleged marijuana in the purse of the woman, who was a passenger.

    MENACING/POSSESSION... A 52-year-old Southgate Drive man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the man's address on a report of a male threatening a victim with a knife. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man punched him in the face and chest repeatedly, then pulled out a 12-inch folding knife and threatened him. Police located an alleged "crack" pipe in a cigarette pack in the man's shirt pocket, as well as the knife.

    DWI/POSSESSION...A 28-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a stop sign on Atwood Drive and East End Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the vehicle was not registered. Police observed that the man's pants were down and that he "smelled like vomit" and was drooling. An officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on the man and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .19. Police located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana on the driver's seat.

    POSSESSION...A 25-year-old Walden Avenue woman was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, police located alleged marijuana in plain view on a dining room table.

    POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Walden Avenue man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Walden address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, in the residence. During a pat search, an officer located an alleged marijuana blunt, as well as alleged marijuana, in the man's pocket.

    POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Suffield Avenue, Depew man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to the man's address in response to a loud music complaint. Upon arrival, police detected an odor of marijuana coming from the man's residence. The man then handed an officer alleged marijuana.

    October 4

    POSSESSION...A 36-year-old Cannas Court man was arrested after police responded to a Transit Road address on a report of a male consuming alcohol in a vehicle. Police observed the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, traveling near Hanwell Place. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed an open beer can in a cup holder. Officers also located alleged marijuana and two pipes in the center console.

    POSSESSION...A 24-year-old Mildred Drive man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on Broadway, displaying an expired inspection sticker. A traffic stop was initiated and police located three plastic bags containing alleged marijuana on the driver's seat.
