CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 20- year-old Amherst man was arrested after police responded to the area of Losson Road and Rushford Lane on a report of a hit-and-run accident in which the man was involved. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man's vehicle intentionally rear-ended her vehicle on Losson. The victim added that the man harassed her for the past three days. Police located the man's vehicle traveling on Broadway.
ASSAULT... A 35-year-old Rushford Lane man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of an altercation. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man punched her in the face.
AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT... A 37-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue address on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man called her and threatened to "do anything it took" to collect money from her and her husband. Police located the man at his residence. The victim alleged that the man had banged on her door in the past.
HARASSMENT...A 32-year-old Steven Drive woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the woman had been "hitting him all day." The victim alleged that the woman also scratched him after he moved her cat off a counter. The woman was reportedly upset because she felt cats were "just like people."
TRESPASSING...A 37-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria clothing store on a report of an unwelcome guest. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the the women refused to leave the store several times. The women also allegedly confronted the complainant about a previous arrest of their family member at the location. September 24
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON...A 22-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police stopped the woman's vehicle, which was traveling northbound on Union Road, for a traffic infraction. When an officer approached the vehicle, the woman reportedly stated that she had a stun gun near the driver's seat, where police located the weapon. A background check revealed that the woman had an outstanding arrest warrant in Cheektowaga.
DWI...A 24-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Aero Drive without its driver's side headlight illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated near Rein Road and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .10. A background check revealed that the man had a previous DWI conviction in August 2005, making this arrest a felony.
POSSESSION...A 21-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, both of Holland, as well as a 22-year-old Marilla woman, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after a police background check revealed that a vehicle- in which the three were occupants and traveling on Walden Avenue- was registered to an owner with an arrest warrant. A traffic stop was initiated and police determined that none of the three occupants owned the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, police located a small plastic bag containing alleged marijuana and a pipe containing alleged cocaine residue.
POSSESSION... A 21-year-old Sherry Drive man and a 17-year-old Lemans Drive male were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the corner of Reiman and Currier streets. Upon approaching the vehicle- in which the man and the 17-year-old were occupants- police located three beer bottles near the 17-yearold's feet, as well as five Ecstacy pills in the center console.
POSSESSION...A 49-year-old Trent Square woman and a 28-year-old Union Road man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after a police background check revealed that a vehicle driven by the woman, which was traveling northbound on Pine Ridge Road, had a suspended registration. A traffic stop was initiated near East Delavan Avenue. During a search of the vehicle, police located a filter from an alleged "crack" pipe on the floor of the back seat, as well as an alleged marijuana cigarette in an ash tray. During a pat search, police located an alleged "crack" pipe in the man's possession, as well as a switchblade and 111 Morphine pills in the woman's purse. Officers also located an alleged "crack" pipe in the back seat of a patrol car in which the woman had been sitting. September 25
ASSAULT...A 23-year-old Yvonne Avenue man was arrested after police stopped a vehicle, which was traveling on the man, for a traffic infraction. The female driver stated that the man had recently assaulted her at his residence by pushing her down a flight of stairs. The victim alleged that the man also threw her clothes and wallet onto the front lawn.
ASSAULT...A 20-year-old Genesee Street man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of an assault in progress. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man struck her in the head several times. The man also allegedly threw the victim's cellular phone and broke a chair and table.
FRAUDULENT ACCOSTING... A 49-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue address on a report of a male attempting to sell a boxed-up computer. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated that the man had attempted to sell him a laptop computer in a box for $250. Officers took the box and located magazines stuffed inside. The man reportedly claimed that he recently bought the box from someone else.
DWI/POSSESSION...A 32-year-old McParlin Avenue man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the area of Harlem Road and William Street on a report of an erratic driver. Police observed the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, cross over double yellow lines while traveling northbound on Harlem. A traffic stop was initiated near Broadway, and the man's vehicle reportedly struck a curb. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test. Officers observed alleged cocaine on the man's nose and shirt, as well as a ripped plastic bag containing alleged cocaine on the driver's seat.
DWI/FALSE PERSONATION... A 59-year-old Windwood Court man and a 33-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police observed the man and woman each not wearing seat belts while traveling in a vehicle that was heading northbound on Harlem Road. The vehicle- driven by the man- also displayed darkly tinted windows, and a traffic stop was initiated near Cedargrove Circle. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .17. Breath test: .17. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo. The woman, a passenger, reportedly gave police a false name. However, a background check revealed the woman's actual identity and that she had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo.
FALSE PERSONATION... A 26- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to an East End Avenue address on a report of a disturbance. When police arrived, the man reportedly confronted an officer and began yelling and demanding an explanation for the officers's presence at the location. The man then reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth, but a background check revealed the man's actual identity. September 27

Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the woman walked onto her porch and asked her personal questions. The victim added that the woman did not have permission to be at the location. POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police stopped the woman's vehicle, which was traveling on Doat Street, for a traffic infraction. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the woman had an outstanding arrest warrant in Amherst. During a pat search, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged "crack" cocaine and alleged marijuana stuffed inside the woman's pants.
FALSE PERSONATION... A 26- year-old Lockport woman was arrested after police attempted to execute warrants pertaining to a female suspect at an Aero Drive adult entertainment club. Upon their arrival, officers confronted the woman, who matched the report's description. The woman reportedly gave officers a false name. However, an investigation revealed the woman's actual identity, and that she had two outstanding arrest warrants in Cheektowaga and one arrest warrant in Lancaster.

A traffic stop was initiated on Harlem Road and the man was unable to produce his license. During a pat search, police located an alleged "crack" pipe in the man's right shorts pocket.
POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Wagner Avenue, Sloan man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Parker Street with an expired inspection sticker. A traffic stop was initiated near Harlem Road and the man stated that his license was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, police located a plastic bag containing alleged cocaine in the center console.

Police located the man, who matched the report's description, nearby in his vehicle. Officers determined that the man had stolen two sets of keys. A traffic stop was initiated near Reiman Street and during a pat search, an officer located an alleged marijuana pipe and a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the man's pants pocket.

Upon an officer's arrival, the man- who matched the report's description- stated that he had been asking persons for a ride to Pine Ridge Road. During a pat search, an officer located an alleged "crack" pipe in the man's left front pants pocket.

Upon arrival, police observed a victim who had a laceration on his head. The victim stated that the man had struck him and thrown him down a flight of stairs. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Greece, New York.

A 27-year-old Niagara Falls man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Pine Ridge Road without its front license plate illuminated. The drivers's view was also obstructed, and a traffic stop was initiated. The man reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth. A background check revealed the man's actual identity and that his license was revoked. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged "crack" cocaine in the center console.

A traffic stop was initiated and police observed in plain view an alleged marijuana cigarette in an ash tray. An officer also observed an open bottle of liquor on the floor near the back seat. During a pat search, police located alleged marijuana in the man's right front pants pocket.
