Barbara Place compromise reached, truck issue remains

      Although a compromise has been reached that allows Barbara Place residents to park their cars on the street overnight they are prohibited from parking during the day to accomodate deliveries to a local store and complaints about store deliveries remain.

      John F. Kennedy High School teacher/consultant Patricia Tooke is hoping students take the time to give back to the community with their words and efforts. Tooke is directing the Student Character Education Committee, a group dedicated to helping needy individuals in the community.
