JULY 29

DWI...A 26-year-old Arthur Musarra Parkway man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed Soldaczewski's vehicle swerve halfway over double yellow lines three times while traveling westbound on George Urban Boulevard near Nagel Drive. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The man denied consuming alcohol and stated he was driving his acquaintance home from a bar. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .11. Breath test: .11.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON...A 34-year-old Randolph Avenue man was arrested after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Pine Ridge Road without a front license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the man's license was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a dagger in the center console.

UNLAWFUL IMPRISONMENT... A 28-year-old Sable Palm Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man refused to let her leave the residence, restraining her several times and once dragging her back to the location. Several young children at the residence alerted neighbors of the incident, and police were called to the scene.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 46-year-old man and 50-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, as well as a 55-year-old Amherst man were arrested after a police background check revealed that a vehicle driven by the 46-year-old man, which was traveling eastbound on East Delavan Avenue, displayed a stolen license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and during a search of the vehicle, police located an alleged "crack" pipe filter in the woman's purse.

POSSESSION...A 38-year-old Lydia Lane man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to the area of Farmingdale Road on a report of a suspicious vehicle. Police located the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, traveling on Greenway Boulevard near Princeton Court. A traffic stop was initiated and officers observed a large hunting knife and alleged marijuana on the floor near the front passenger's seat.

JULY 30

POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Lemans Drive man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling in an erratic manner while heading westbound on North Transithill Drive. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the man's license was suspended. The man reportedly admitted to having marijuana in the center console, where police located the alleged item. An officer also located a small bag containing alleged marijuana in the man's pants pocket.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 42-year-old woman and a 25-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police responded to Walden Galleria on a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival, police observed mall security guards holding the women. Officers determined that the pair, which matched the report's description, had stolen approximately $2,200 in merchandise- including clothing, perfume, soap, drapes and sneakers- from five stores.

POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Lynncrest Terrace woman and a 20-yearold Elkhurst Drive woman were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle, in which the women were passengers, traveling in an erratic manner on Cedargrove Circle near Maryvale Drive. The vehicle also passed through a stop sign on Maryvale, and a traffic stop was initiated. The women pulled alleged marijuana and smoking pipes from their purses and handed the items to police. With assistance from a K-9 unit, officers located alleged marijuana in the vehicle. During the booking process, a female guard located a small plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the Lynncrest woman's bra.

JULY 31

ASSAULT/POSSESSION... A 46- year-old Gates Street, Sloan woman was arrested after police responded to a Harlem Road restaurant on a report of an assault. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim- who was bleeding from the nose- stated that during an argument, the woman punched and kicked her. The woman also pulled out clumps of the victim's hair. Police located the woman in the restaurant and found alleged marijuana in her purse.

POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Broadway with only one headlight illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer located two alleged marijuana pipes near the center console. The man later admitted to having "hash" in his left pocket, and then handed an officer a plastic bag containing alleged hashish.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF...A 47- year-old Borden Road man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of criminal mischief. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man drilled out the ignition column of his vehicle. The victim added that the man committed this action because he had been "in a drug-induced haze for about four days."

TRESPASSING...A 36-year-old Kenmore man was arrested after police responded to a Genesee Street manufacturing company on a report of trespassing. Upon an officer's arrival, a security supervisor stated that the man refused to leave the location, even after being instructed to do so several times. The man, who reportedly appeared to be intoxicated, later yelled profanities at police before being subdued.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 27-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after a police background check revealed that Bronaugh's vehicle, which was traveling on George Urban Boulevard, displayed license plates that had been stolen from Georgia. A background check revealed that the man's license was revoked. A traffic stop was initiated and during a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged marijuana.

POSSESSION...A 21-year-old man and 20-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 21-yearold, which was traveling eastbound on William Street, displayed inadequate brake lights. A traffic stop was initiated near Standard Parkway. The 21-year-old was unable to produce the vehicle's registration. During a search of the vehicle, police located 130 plastic bags commonly used in drug packaging as well as 13 bags containing alleged "crack" cocaine on the floor.

POSSESSION...A 39-year-old Blasdell man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle fail to signal while turning into a convenience store parking lot after traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed in the center console an alleged marijuana cigarette. Officers also located an alleged "crack" pipe in the center console.

AUGUST 1

DWI/POSSESSION...A 28-year-old Miami Parkway woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a witness's report of the woman's vehicle striking a curb while traveling eastbound on Genesee Street, then hitting a "Pedestrians Crossing" sign while heading southbound on Union Road. Police located the woman in a Union Road restaurant parking lot and noticed significant frontend damage to her vehicle. Officers also observed broken glass "all over" the woman's vehicle. The witness again identified the woman as the driver, and a background check revealed that the woman's license was revoked. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located 16 Oxycodone pills in a pill bottle.

ASSAULT...A 42-year-old Griffith Street, Sloan man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police observed a victim being treated by medical personnel for various lacerations and swelling. The victim stated that the man punched her in the face and also damaged several of her personal items.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 19- year-old Main Street, Depew man was arrested after police observed the man acting in a suspicious manner near a Redoak Drive residence. Upon approaching the man and conducting a pat search, an officer located a cellular phone belonging to a female at the Redoak address. A background check revealed that the female had a stay-away order of protection against the man.

AUGUST 2

POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man acting suspiciously at the corner of Pine Ridge Road and Genesee Street. Upon approaching the man and conducting a pat search, an officer located two plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in the man's right front pants pocket.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 32- year-old Hoerner Avenue man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man not only grabbed her but also punched holes in a wall. The man also reportedly burned several of the victim's photographs.

TRESPASSING...A 53-year-old East Toulon Drive man was arrested after police responded to an East Toulon address on a report of a violation of a posting by a town building inspector. Upon arrival, police determined that the man- who was inside the residence- had violated a stay-away order from the residence by the town building inspector. Officers observed "deplorable conditions" in the residence, including garbage, animal waste and general debris. A neighbor stated that the man had illegally resided at the residence and had never put out any garbage for collection by the town.

LARCENY...A 24-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Thruway Plaza department store on a report of employee theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a loss prevention manager stated that a few days earlier, the man took $100 from the cash register. Police observed the incident on video surveillance equipment.

DWI/POSSESSION...A 24-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a motor vehicle accident on the corner of Aero Drive and Transit Road in which the man's vehicle was involved. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim- whose vehicle was also involved in the incident- said the man "seemed high on something." The man did not record a positive result on an alco sensor or breath test, but failed several field sobriety tests. During a pat search, an officer located a pill bottle containing two Soma pills in the man's front pants pocket. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located 15 Vibramy pills and a jar containing alleged marijuana residue.

FALSE PERSONATION... A 37- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after officers brought the man to police headquarters on a separate charge. The man reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth, but a background check revealed the man's actual identity and that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Tonawanda.

POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Crane Street, Depew man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police initiated a traffic stop of the man's vehicle, which was traveling westbound on Aero Drive, for a traffic infraction. However, the man's vehicle continued traveling into the parking lot of an Aero Drive adult entertainment center, where the man ran from the vehicle and entered the club. The man reportedly ran around tables and dumped alleged cocaine and marijuana into a garbage can. An officer apprehended the man in a bathroom. The man reportedly refused to place his hands behind his back before he was physically subdued. A background check revealed that the man's license had been suspended, and that his vehicle was not insured.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... An 18- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria parking lot on a report of a male breaking into vehicles. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated he observed the man steal an object from a vehicle and damage the driver's side door. Mall security guards then apprehended the man.

TRESPASSING/MENACING... A 21-year-old Yvette Drive woman was arrested after police responded to a Yvette address on report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the woman pushed her way into the residence and refused to leave, even though she did not have permission to be there. Police found the woman hiding upstairs in the residence.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF...A 20- year-old man with no address given was arrested after police responded to Garden Village Parkway on a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, police observed the man spray-painting graffitti onto a building. Police chased the man and were forced to knock him off his bicycle because he refused to comply with officers' orders.

HARASSMENT...A 39-year-old Mansion Avenue woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of an intoxicated female lying on the ground. Upon arrival, police observed the woman, who matched the report's description, walking on Mansion. Various medical and fire personnel stated that the woman pushed several staff members earlier. The woman also reportedly kicked officers until she was sprayed with pepper spray.

ASSAULT... A 33-year-old Tonawanda man was arrested after police responded to a Pleasant Parkway address on a report of males fighting in the street. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man threw two fence posts at him during an argument, one striking him in the back of the head. The man also reportedly punched two other males during the altercation.

AUGUST 3

POSSESSION...A 28-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with only one headlight illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and the man's vehicle bumped the front of a patrol car. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged "crack" cocaine residue on an envelope on the front passenger's side floor.

MENACING/CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON... A 25- year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Hoerner Avenue address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the woman threatened him with a knife. The woman also reportedly slapped the victim in the face and threatened to "cut up" her clothing.

TRESPASSING...A 19-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue truck stop on a report of a male trespassing. Police located the man, who matched the report's description, inside a bus loop near a Walden Galleria store. A manager stated the man had ignored his requests for the man not to come to the scene.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 32- year-old Kenville Road man was arrested after police responded to a Kenville address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man took a pen and smeared all of its ink on the wall. The man also allegedly knocked the blinds off a kitchen window.

RESISTING ARREST...A 35-yearold Dunkirk man was arrested after police observed the man and another male fighting in the beer tent at a church lawn fete. Several witnesses stated the man threw a beer in the face of the male, then bit the male in the face. The man then reportedly refused to leave the location, acting in a "violent and aggressive manner" while struggling with police. The man fought with and used profanity toward police, later pounding and kicking a jail cell.

AUGUST 4

POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Gregory Court man, as well as two 18-yearold Buffalo men, were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police conducted a traffic checkpoint on Genesee Street at Alpine Place. When a vehicle driven by the 21-year-old passed through, officers observed alleged marijuana on the shirt of the first 18-yearold, a passenger. Police located a bag containing alleged marijuana in the first 18-year-old's front pants pocket. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located another bag containing alleged marijuana between the front seats, as well as a bowl containing alleged marijuana.

POSSESSION...A 52-year-old Harlem Road man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling northbound on Harlem Road, at 55 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated near Freda Avenue and the man reportedly used profanity. An officer observed a pill bottle near the man's legs, and upon searching the bottle police located alleged marijuana.

DWI/POSSESSION...A 19-year-old Clarence woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle make several unsafe movements within its lane while traveling eastbound on the Kensington Expressway. A traffic stop was initiated on Maryvale Drive and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .18. Breath test: .15. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located an alleged marijuana pipe in the woman's purse.

DWI/FALSE PERSONATION... A 46-year-old Celina Street, Sloan man was arrested after police responded to Dingens pool on a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle. Upon arrival, police observed the man sitting in his vehicle within view of playground swings. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .11. Breath test: .12. The man reportedly gave officers a false name, but a background check revealed his actual identity.

JULY 28

DWI...A 50-year-old West Seneca man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a stop sign while traveling eastbound on French Road at Irving Terrace. A traffic stop was initiated near Mona Court and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and "impaired" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .17.

JULY 29

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 24-year-old Lancer Court, Depew man was arrested after police responded to a Burkhardt Avenue address on a report of a male attempting to gain access to the residence. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the man vomited on the side of the residence, then pounded on the front door. The man, whom police observed laying on the driveway, reportedly threw several punches at an officer before he was sprayed with pepper spray and handcuffed.

DWI...A 29-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle travel at a high rate of speed through a Transit Road restaurant parking lot and onto Transit without stopping. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and "impaired" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .16.

AUGUST 2 GRAND LARCENY...A 23-yearold

Lancaster man was arrested after police responded to a Wyandotte Street address on a report of a burglary in progress in which a male suspect fled in a vehicle toward Lancaster. Police located the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, traveling southbound on Transit Road near Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated, but the man's vehicle continued traveling into a parking lot, narrowly missing two pedestrians. Officers stopped the man's vehicle on Columbia Avenue and ordered him out of his vehicle at gunpoint. A complainant stated at police headquarters that the man removed two pieces of aluminum framing- valued at $1,000- from the residence earlier. The man also reportedly used his vehicle to bump the complainant's vehicle out of the way in order to flee the location. The man was additionally charged with two counts of
