CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/ POSSESSION...A 24-year-old Lancer Court, Depew man was arrested after police responded to a Westbrook Drive address on a report of a possible burglary. Upon arrival, police observed the man on the ground, with blood dripping from his arms. A victim stated she and the man got into an argument earlier over the man's alleged drug use. After the victim forced the man to leave the residence, the man allegedly came back and broke a window. Police located a bag containing Morphinesulph and Codene pills, as well as a spoon, in the man's possession.
DWI...A 25-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling northbound on Harlem Road, at 62 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated on Franklin Avenue and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .14.
POSSESSION...A 19-year-old Leroy Road man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Homesgarth Avenue address on a report of report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description as having been involved in the incident, seated in a vehicle in front of the residence. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana hanging out of the man's front sweatshirt pocket. During a pat search, police located an alleged marijuana pipe in Fell's pants pocket.
DWI...A 41-year-old Genesee Street man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle cross over double yellow lines into an oncoming traffic lane while traveling northbound on Harlem Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .12. Breath test: .15.
TRESPASSING/RESISTING ARREST...A 43-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Cleveland Drive address on a report of a male refusing to leave a laundromat. Upon an officer's arrival, an employee stated that the man had begged customers for money. When the employee asked the man to leave, the man allegedly charged at the employee and yelled profanities, refusing to leave the location. When police arrived, the man reportedly became agitated and yelled profanities, refusing to place his hands behind his back before he was sprayed with pepper spray.
DWAI BY DRUGS...A 28-year-old Ely Road man was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs after police responded to the area of Union Road and George Urban Boulevard on a report of an erratic driver. Police located the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, stopped at a red light on George Urban and Union. The man was reportedly "slumped at the wheel." When the signal turned green, the man's vehicle traveled ahead before striking a curb on Union. A traffic stop was initiated near McKesson Parkway and an officer noticed that the man had glassy eyes and "very slow" speech. The man failed several field sobriety tests but did not record a positive result on an alco sensor. However, police determined that the man was under the influence of drugs.
JULY 9
DWI...A 32-year-old Jane Lane, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the Kensington Expressway on a report of an accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. Upon arriving and during an investigation, police determined that the man's vehicle had fled toward Genesee Street. Police located the man's vehicle on Genesee near Ellwood Place and initiated a traffic stop. The man, who failed several field sobriety tests, reportedly told police that he took prescription medication before driving.
LARCENY...A 50-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria department store on a report of a larceny in which the offender fled in a vehicle. Police located a vehicle in which the man, who matched the report's description, was a passenger and traveling on Harlem Road. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed the the woman in the driver's seat. A complainant stated that the man stole eight pairs of jeans valued at $384, left the store without paying for the items and jumped into a vehicle driven by the woman. Police observed the incident on video surveillance.
ASSAULT...A 23-year-old Main Street, Depew man was arrested after police responded to a Basswood Drive address on a report of a dispute in which the offender fled the scene. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man started an argument earlier and then broke a telephone. The man also allegedly slammed a door on the victim, causing the victim's hand to go through a window. Police later located the man at her residence.
LARCENY/POSSESSION... A 29- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a larceny at a Thruway Plaza store. Upon an officer's arrival, a store security guard stated the man fled the store with a stolen computer jump drive, causing an alarm to sound. Officers later located the man in the bathroom of another Thruway Plaza store. An officer also located an alleged "crack" pipe in the man's possession.
POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Briarcliff Road man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police stopped a vehicle driven by Rebhowlz, traveling eastbound on Genesee Street, for a traffic infraction. The man and several passengers reportedly told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana under the driver's seat. The man admitted to owning the alleged item.
TRESPASSING...A 35-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Winkler Road address on a report of trespassing. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated the man entered the residence without her permission.
JULY 10
DWI/POSSESSION...A 32-year-old Broadway, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling northbound on Transit Road near French Road, at 55 miles per hour in a 40 mph speed zone. The man's vehicle also displayed darkly tinted windows, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The man reportedly stated that he consumed three beers earlier at a French Road tavern. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located 45 Hydrocodone pills in a container in the center console.
RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT... A 51-year-old Meadowbrook Parkway woman was arrested after police responded to a Pine Ridge Road address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the woman threw a lit cigarette at her chest, burning her.
POSSESSION...A 34-year-old Iroquois Avenue man and a 24-year-old Claudette Court woman were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the woman, which was traveling eastbound on Broadway, displaying a rear license plate that was not illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the woman's license was suspended. The man admitted to having a metal push rod in his pocket, where police located the item. Police also located a "chore boy," alleged "crack" cocaine and an alleged "crack" pipe in the man's possession.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 39- year-old Constance Lane man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a violent dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man kicked, punched and spat on her, causing the victim to sustain a laceration and bruises. The man also allegedly threw a sofa, loveseat, lamps, pictures and frames. The man also kicked and punched a door before police arrived.
JULY 11
DWI...A 45-year-old Lovejoy Street, Sloan man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man drinking a beer while in the driver's seat of his vehicle, which was running in the parking lot of a Ludington Street address. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer also observed an open 12-pack of beer on the front passenger seat. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "slightly slurred" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .18.
POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling westbound on George Urban Boulevard at 50 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated near Wheaton Drive and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed alleged marijuana leaves in the driver's side door panel and window sill. Officers located alleged "crack" cocaine inside the vehicle, as well as $1,464 in the man's right front pants pocket.
POSSESSION...A 38-year-old Buffalo woman and a 16-year-old Arthur Musarra Parkway male were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to an Arthur Musarra address on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police observed a suspicious vehicle with the woman and the 16-year-old as occupants. Officers observed beer bottles in the vehicle. A witness stated he observed the woman and the 16-year-old having sex inside and outside the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged "crack" cocaine on the floor.
TRESPASSING...A 45-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to St. Joseph Hospital on a report of an unwelcome guest who refused to leave the location. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, leaving the front entrance of the hospital. A security guard stated the man had been barred from returning to the hospital, but that he arrived that day and threatened him with physical violence.
POSSESSION...A 27-year-old Williamstown Court man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man loitering in the rear of a Garden Village Drive parking lot. After police approached him and ran a background check, officers determined that the man had an outstanding bench warrant in Buffalo. During a pat search, an officer located alleged marijuana in the man's right front pants pocket.
DWI...A 43-year-old Williamstown Court woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the woman's vehicle, which was traveling southbound on Harlem Road, at 55 miles per hour in a 40 mph speed zone. The woman's vehicle also crossed over double yellow lines and traveled on the wrong side of the road for a considerable distance. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "heavily slurred" speech. The woman reportedly stated she consumed only one beer earlier. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .10. Breath test: .09.
JULY 12
AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT... A 35-year-old Cleveland Drive woman was arrested after police responded to a Euclid Avenue address on a report of threatening telephone calls. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the woman called her cellular phone approximately 10 times and said, " I'll kill you and your unborn baby." Henry also used profanity. Police observed the woman's telephone number on the victim's caller I.D. Officers later located the woman at a Buffalo address.
POSSESSION...A 35-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the driver of a vehicle, in which the woman was a passenger, not wearing a seatbelt. A traffic stop was initiated as the vehicle traveled eastbound on Cleveland Drive and a background check revealed that the driver's license was suspended. Police located a Hydrocodone pill in the woman's purse.
DWI...A 47-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the Kensington Expressway on a report of an accident in which the woman's vehicle was involved. Upon an officer's arrival, the woman reportedly claimed her vehicle was struck by another vehicle, causing it to collide with a guide rail. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. A background check revealed that the woman's license was suspended. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .13.

POSSESSION...A 42-year-old man and a 51-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police stopped a vehicle driven by the 42-yearold, which was traveling northbound on Rossler Avenue, for a traffic infraction. A background check revealed that the 42-year-old's license was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged "crack" cocaine under the front passenger seat.
POSSESSION...A 36-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling on Lackawanna Avenue with a loud muffler. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman admitted that her license was suspended. An officer observed an alleged "crack" pipe on the driver's seat next to the center console. A background check revealed that the woman had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo.
DWI...A 45-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling erratically on South Creek Drive near Nagel Drive. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .09. Breath test: refused.
POSSESSION...A 38-year-old Hanwell Place, Depew man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed Wright acting in a suspicious manner while walking on Walden Avenue. Upon approaching the man, police observed that the man was acting nervous and was shaking. The man later said he had two marijuana "roaches" in his pocket, where police located the items. Police also found an alleged "crack" pipe in the man's possession.
JULY 14
POSSESSION/FORGERY... A 41- year-old man, a 39-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman, all of Buffalo, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 41-year-old cross over double yellow lines while traveling northbound on Pine Ridge Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed in plain view an alleged marijuana cigarette on the gear shifter. During a pat search, police located an alleged marijuana cigar in the 41-yearold's right front pants pocket and an alleged "crack" pipe in the 39-year-old's right front pants pocket. A background check revealed that the 41-year-old's license was suspended. At police headquarters, the 41-year-old reportedly signed his fingerprint sheet with a false name and date of birth. However, a detention officer recognized the 41-yearold from a previous arrest and revealed his actual identity.
DWI/POSSESSION...A 30-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a red light while traveling westbound on Genesee Street at Pine Ridge Road. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the man's license was suspended. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged cocaine in a coffee mug on the floor, a straw with alleged cocaine residue on the dashboard, a pipe containing alleged marijuana on the front passenger seat and alleged marijuana in an ashtray.
HARASSMENT...A 23-year-old Lancaster man was arrested after police responded to the Walden Avenue Super Flea on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police determined that during an argument, the man grabbed one victim and pushed another victim into a display case.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY/ POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Wheatfield man and a 23-year-old Kenville Road woman were arrested after police responded to a Union Road auto shop on a report of a larceny. During an investigation, police determined that the man and woman had been involved in the incident. Officers located the pair at the woman's residence and noticed that they were both holding knives. After subduing the two, police located alleged marijuana in the woman's right front pants pocket. An officer located a stolen license plate from the auto shop on the man's vehicle. Police also located several plastic bags in the man's vehicle.

A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had bloodshot, watery eyes. DWI...A 23-year-old Glenwood Court man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerve and impede traffic while traveling eastbound on French Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and "impaired" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .17. Breath test: .15.
