DWI/POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Williamsville woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana after police paced with radar the woman's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on the Kensington Expressway, at 74 miles per hour in a 50 mph speed zone. The woman's vehicle also changed lanes several times without signaling, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .13. Breath test: .10. Police later located alleged marijuana in the woman's purse.
DWI...A 40-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle cross over double yellow lines while traveling westbound on Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a "moderately strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "slightly slurred" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .16.
ASSAULT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 19-year-old Euclid Avenue man and a 16-year-old Euclid Avenue female were arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, two victims stated that during an argument, the man sprayed lighter fluid near them and called them derogatory names. The 16-year-old, who was near the location, reportedly shouted profanities at officers while several residents and young children observed.
FALSE PERSONATION... A 31- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a parking complaint at a Euclid Avenue address. When police arrived and asked the man to move his vehicle, the man reportedly couldn't produce any identification and gave officers a false name. A background check revealed the man's actual identity and that he had an outstanding arrest warrant.
POSSESSION...A 25-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling on Walden Avenue with a rear license plate that was not illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and the man stated that he had only a learner's permit. The man admitted to having marijuana in his right front pants pocket, where police located the alleged item.
DWI...A 24-year-old Alden man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Kensington Expressway location on a report of an erratic driver. Police located the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, traveling on the off-ramp near Pine Ridge Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "very slurred" speech. ASSAULT...A 42-year-old Marie Avenue man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police observed that the man was intoxicated. The man admitted to pushing a female victim but denied doing anything else. The victim stated that the man threw a hair straightener at her stomach. The man also allegedly punched the victim in the face, pressed his arm against her throat and choked her. Police observed cuts, redness and swelling on the victim's lip.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 33-year-old Walden Avenue woman and a 45-year-old Ridge Park Avenue woman were arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue address on a report of a fight in the street. Upon arrival, police observed the women pushing and yelling at each other. Both of the women accused each other of starting the fight.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON...A 21-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Euclid Avenue address on a report of a person with a gun. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man approached him at a Walden Avenue address and displayed a gun under his shirt. Police located the man at a Euclid residence and located a rifle nearby in the bushes.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 48-year-old Bert Road man was arrested after police observed a traffic jam on Cleveland Drive near the New York State Thruway where the man reportedly created a hazard by attempting to pass stopped vehicles in close quarters. When an officer later stopped the man's vehicle in a Cleveland Drive restaurant parking lot, the man reportedly yelled loudly at police, refusing an officer's orders to stop doing so.
POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Amherst man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue, containing loose objects that were not secured by a tailgate in the rear. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed in plain view a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana protruding from the center console.
ASSAULT...A 25-year-old Andrews Avenue woman was arrested after police responded to an area near an Aero Drive adult entertainment club on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the woman bit his arm, ripped out his earring, pushed him and ripped his pants.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... An 18- year-old Broadway, Sloan woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police determined that the woman threw a glass during an argument, breaking it on the front steps. The woman and a victim then reportedly began slapping each other before police arrived.
LARCENY/FALSE PERSONATION... An 18-year-old Buffalo woman, a 16-year-old Buffalo female and a 15-year-old Buffalo female were arrested after police responded to a Thruway Plaza store on a report of a possible shoplifting in progress. Upon arrival, police observed the woman and the two teens- who matched the report's description- exiting the store. The 16-year-old possessed a pair of stolen jeans. A complainant stated that the three stole several articles of clothing valued at $175. The woman and the 15-year-old reportedly gave police false names, but a background check revealed their actual identities.

POSSESSION...An 18-year-old Bennett Road man was arrested for possession of a hypodermic instrument after police stopped the man's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on George Urban Boulevard, for a traffic infraction. The man was unable to produce his license. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located four unused syringes and one used hypodermic syringe in the glove compartment, as well as 61 pills in a bag on the back seat. The man reportedly said the pills were "fake steroids" that he had purchased and that he had been "ripped off."
ASSAULT... A 20-year-old Hyland Road man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man slapped her on the top of her head, then stood in front of the door and refused to let her leave. The victim said the man pushed her on a bed and attempted to choke her.
POSSESSION...A 23-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Walden Avenue address on a report of an argument. Upon arrival, police determined that the man had jumped out of a moving vehicle on Walden and punched a metal pole. Officers heard the man yelling profanities while walking with a female in a parking lot. The man then attempted to spin away from officers before being subdued. Police located a plastic bottle containing alleged marijuana in the man's possession. The man, who suffered a laceration on his knee as a result of jumping from the vehicle, was treated at St. Joseph Hospital.

POSSESSION...A 36-year-old woman and a 41-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 36-year-old traveling westbound on Straley Avenue with an inadequate muffler. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the 36- year-old's license was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located an alleged "crack" pipe in the 41- year-old's purse.
POSSESSION...A 45-year-old St. James Street, Depew man and a 28-yearold West Seneca man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 45-year-old traveling eastbound on Broadway with its driver's view obstructed. A traffic stop was initiated and the 45-year-old was unable to produce the vehicle's registration. The men reportedly told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. Police observed a pipe containing alleged cocaine residue fall from the 45-year-old's waistband. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged "crack" cocaine on the floor near the front passenger's seat.
FALSE PERSONATION... A 20- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police observed the man talking on a cellular phone while operating his vehicle on Galleria Drive. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth. However, a background check revealed the man's actual identity.
HARASSMENT...A 67-year-old Armond Lane man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man grabbed her arm, causing redness and swelling. The man, who was reportedly intoxicated, also reportedly tried to stop the victim from calling police.

Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy eyes and slurred speech. MENACING...A 19-year-old Garden Village Drive woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police determined that during an argument, the woman threatened a victim with a can of lighter fluid, allegedly stating, "I'll light you up."
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 25- year-old Genesee Street man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a male smashing out the windows of a vehicle in which young children were seated. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man came home intoxicated and started an argument. When the victim took her two children and attempted to drive away in a vehicle, the man allegedly smashed the driver's side window, then fled on foot into nearby woods. Police located the man in the wooded area.
BURGLARY...A 43-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Pine Ridge Road address on a report of a male stealing a lawn mower. Police observed the man, who matched the report's description, walking northbound on Pine Ridge. Officers approached the man and noticed that he had a blower, saw and a planer, all of which was valued at $445 and belonged to a victim. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding bench warrant in Cheektowaga.
POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Walden Avenue address on a report of a male waving a gun in the middle of the street. Police observed the man, who matched the report's description, sitting on the front steps. Police located six small plastic bags containing alleged marijuana near where the man had been sitting. With assistance from a K-9 unit, officers located another plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the back seat of a patrol car in which the man had been sitting. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo.

A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged "crack" cocaine in the headliner near the driver's seat.

POSSESSION...A 39-year-old Medina Street woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the woman's vehicle pass through a stop sign while traveling westbound on Richard Drive. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman, who could not produce any identification, reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth. During an investigation, police determined the woman's actual identity and date of birth. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located 11 alleged "crack" pipes, a "chore boy," an open beer container and the woman's license. Officers also located a Lortab pill in the woman's purse.
HARASSMENT...A 26-year-old Preston Road woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's residence on a report of a dispute. When police arrived, the woman reportedly kicked an officer in his left shin.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY... A 19-yearold woman, an 18-year-old woman and another 18-year-old woman, all of Buffalo; were arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria store on a report of shoplifting. Upon arrival, police observed the women being held by store security. Officers determined the three had stolen $120 worth of store clothing.
DWI...A 28-year-old Beach Road woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the woman's vehicle, which was traveling westbound on Cleveland Drive, at 46 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage. The woman reportedly stated that she had consumed alcohol earlier at a friend's house on Broadway. Field sobriety tests were administered. Also sensor: positive. Breath test: .11.
POSSESSION...A 19-year-old Tonawanda man, a 22-year-old Buffalo man and a 20-year-old Buffalo man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the 22-year-old traveling westbound on Walden Avenue with darkly tinted windows. A traffic stop was initiated and the 22-year-old could not produce his license. A background check revealed that the 19-year-old had an arrest warrant in Buffalo. During a search of the vehicle, police located a large bag containing eight smaller plastic bags of alleged marijuana.

DWI...A 27-year-old Meadowlawn Road man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle make an erratic turn while traveling from Broadway onto Transit Road. A traffic stop was initiated near Canton Street and a female driver stated she was attempting to flee the man, who allegedly chased her in his vehicle following a dispute at a tavern. Police responded to the man's residence and observed paint from the victim's vehicle on the man's vehicle. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and "impaired" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .17. Breath test: refused. A background check revealed the man had two previous DWI convictions, making this arrest a felony.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 32- year-old Olmstead Avenue, Depew man was arrested after police responded to the area of Columbia Avenue and Ashford Place on a report of a male who "jumped a car." Police located the man, who matched the report's description, at a Columbia Avenue address. The man stated he earlier approached a female but did not jump on her vehicle. Police determined that the female had a stayaway order of protection against the man. The female stated that the man had jumped in front of her vehicle and then leaped on her trunk.
