JUNE 3
POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police stopped a vehicle, in which the man was a passenger, traveling eastbound on Genesee Street, for a traffic infraction. During a pat search, an officer located a jar containing alleged marijuana in tthe man's pocket. The man later admitted to having $300 worth of "weed" in the vehicle. Police located alleged marijuana under the front passenger's seat.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 43- year-old Arthur Musarra Parkway man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man damaged the victim's vehicle. The man then reportedly stated, "I threw a shovel at the truck, take me away!" Police observed a dent and paint damage to the vehicle.
TRESPASSING...A 19-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Creekside Drive address on a report of a "Peeping Tom." Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated she observed the man staring at her through a window. According to the victim, the man also climbed over a fence and approached the front window of the Creekside residence. The man, who was not wearing a shirt or socks, then fled the location toward Harlem Road. Officers observed the man walking southbound on Harlem and took him into custody.
BURGLARY/HARASSMENT... A 47-year-old Arthur Musarra Parkway man was arrested after police responded to an Arthur Musarra address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that on a previous date, the man had cut her screen window and entered her residence when the victim wasn't home. On June 3, the man allegedly came to the residence and started an argument with the victim, pushing and "slamming" the victim down several times. A background check revealed that the victim had an order of protection against the man.
POSSESSION...A 19-year-old West Seneca man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot of a South Rossler Avenue plaza. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed the man in the driver's seat and detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the interior. Police also observed a white powdery substance on a straw next to the man. The man reportedly stated that he was snorting a grinded-up Hydrocodone pill, adding that he had marijuana and a pipe in the center console. Police located alleged marijuana, a smoking pipe, a push rod and a bottle containing Hydrocodone pills in the center console.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 20- year-old Hedwig Avenue man was arrested after police responded to a Gualbert Avenue address on a report of two males fighting in the street. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man had exited a vehicle on Gualbert and started an argument with the victim "over a computer." The man then reportedly pushed the victim and attempted to punch him, throwing the victim's cellular phone across the street. The man then re-entered the vehicle, which traveled westbound on Doat Street. Police located the vehicle traveling on Genesee Street in Buffalo.
JUNE 5
BURGLARY/POSSESSION... A 39-year-old Windwood Court woman was arrested after police responded to an Ellwood Place address on a report of a suspicious person with a stroller. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated he observed the woman, who matched the report's description, remove an object from a mailbox at an Ellwood address, after she jiggled a side door knob for several minutes. The woman also allegedly walked to the rear of the residence for approximately 10 minutes before heading toward Pendlewood Drive. An officer observed the woman attempting to enter a Pendlewood residence through the back door. During a pat search, police located the following items in the woman's possession: a screwdriver, a bag containing alleged marijuana, a drill, $50 in cash, eyeglasses, a computer keyboard and seven pieces of mail belonging to a victim on Ellwood.

BURGLARY...A 40-year-old Shirley Drive woman was arrested after police responded to a Chapel Avenue address on a report of a bicycle theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated he believed that the woman had taken the bike from his garage, based on her alleged similar actions in the past. After arriving at the woman's address, police observed the woman riding the victim's bicycle.
POSSESSION...An 18-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle in which the woman and man were occupants pass through a stop sign while traveling on Pine Ridge Road. A traffic stop was initiated and none of the vehicle's occupants were able to produce identification. Police located alleged marijuana in the woman's purse and the man's jacket pocket. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo.
JUNE 7
POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with a loud muffler. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the man had a bench warrant in Buffalo. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana under the driver's seat, as well as another bag containing alleged marijuana in the front cup holder.
FORGERY...A 38-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after a complainant told officers at police headquarters that on a previous date the woman had forged a stolen prescription at a Thruway Plaza supermarket. Through an investigation, police determined that the woman had committed forgery and located her at her residence.
JUNE 8 DISORDERLY CONDUCT/OBSTRUCTING GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION... A 47-year-old Amherst man was arrested after police responded to a Genesee Street gas station on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man threatened to punch her. The man also allegedly ran across Genesee, on which there was heavy traffic, causing several vehicles to swerve out of the way to avoid hitting the man. When officers approached him, the man reportedly ran back and forth across Genesee several times, nearly causing several accidents. Police apprehended the man behind the gas station.
POSSESSION...A 34-year-old Sierra Drive woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the woman not wearing a seatbelt while occupying a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Ellwood Place. A traffic stop was initiated on Genesee Street and police located a Lortab pill in the woman's purse.
POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Niagara Falls woman was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling westbound on Walden Avenue with darkly tinted windows. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the interior. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located an alleged marijuana cigarette in a shopping bag, as well as alleged marijuana in the glove compartment.
JUNE 9
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT/RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT... A 21- year-old Lackawanna man was arrested after police responded to a French Road address on a report of a male kicking a vehicle. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man was holding her against her will. The man allegedly threatened to kick the victim and later physically restrained and slapped her. A witness later observed the man yelling at the victim, as well as kicking the vehicle, and called police.

POSSESSION...A 23-year-old Crane Street, Depew man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling southbound on Dick Road, at 45 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and the man could only produce a learner's permit. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a small quantity of alleged marijuana in the glove compartment.
JUNE 6
DWI...A 54-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerve between lanes while traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .13.
