Saying goodbye
I'm fondly saying goodbye to public office and to you, but before I do, I want to recommend Stan Kaznowski as my replacement on the Town Board. He is a taxpayer association president, a candidate that comes genuinely from the people's perspective. He's also a businessman with the acumen and ability to lead as well as team plan solutions to our community's problems; but not without first seeking consensus among the constituents, he'll be elected to serve. He will not support flawed or highly prejudiced decisions. He won't be easily influenced by profiteers. He's neither phony nor consumed by greed and ego. Stan seeks the office of Councilmember out of exasperation and the will to do better. He truly wishes to fulfill the aspirations, if not the dreams, of the townspeople he knows so well. It is an honor to submit his name for your endorsement. He will make you proud and I urge you to make him one of your candidates to sit on a new Town Board. I also thank you for having allowed me to serve my fellow Cheektowagans.
