Nosek to guide Depew with its legal matters

| Anthony M. Nosek, an attorney at Cohen & Lombardo, a law firm based in the historic home of famed architect E.B. Green on Elmwood Avenue in the City of Buffalo, was recently appointed village attorney for the Village of Depew by the newly elected Mayor Barbara Alberti. Nosek's appointment received the unanimous approval by the Village Board. Nosek has more than 35 years of private and public sector experience.
"Mayor Alberti and the new Depew Village Board are sincerely committed to leaner and more effective local government," said Nosek. "I am honored by my selection as Village Attorney and committed to helping this new client to achieve its goals."
In the private sector, Nosek has been associated with Cohen and Lombardo, for thirty years, and is currently "of Counsel" to the firm. He was also Vice President and General Counsel to the C.I.D. Group Inc. a corporation which provided management, legal, accounting and engineering services to related corporations. Nosek's past public service experience includes representing several local municipalities.
Nosek received his Juris Doctor from State University at New York Buffalo Law School where he was a member of the Buffalo Law Review. He attended Canisius College where he earned a B.A. in English. He is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and serves on the board of directors of the Heritage Oak Foundation, which supports Heritage Centers and other opportunities for the developmentally disabled.
