UNLAWFUL DEALING WITH FIREWORKS...A 19-year-old Farmingdale Road man and a 16-yearold Montfort Drive male were arrested after police responded to a Bert Road address on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, police observed the man and the 16-year-old using fireworks.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 23- year-old Windwood Court man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a male beating a female. Upon arrival, police located the man and a victim in the living room. Police then determined that the man threw a lamp against a wall, damaging the item.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 23- year-old Wabash Avenue man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man kicked the siding of the victim's garage, causing various damage.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 46- year-old Woodland Terrace man was arrested after a victim stated at police headquarters that the man violated an order of protection by arriving at the victim's residence earlier on Barbara Place. The victim also stated that the man called the victim twice and later walked in front of her residence for five minutes. Police located the man on Barbara Place. A background check revealed that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man.
POSSESSION/TRESPASSING... A 50-year-old Walden Avenue man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police observed the man holding a large knife in the living room. Police convinced the man to drop the knife, and officers were forced to physically subdue the man. During a pat search, police located alleged "crack" cocaine in the man's possession.

POSSESSION...A 43-year-old Alden woman and a 35-year-old Lancaster man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police stopped a vehicle driven eastbound on Broadway by the woman, for a traffic infraction. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman was unable to produce her vehicle registration. During a search of the vehicle, police located a Hydrocodone pill near the front passenger's seat, as well as four Xanax pills in the woman's purse and an alleged "crack" pipe in the headliner.
POSSESSION...A 45-year-old George Urban Boulevard woman and a 21-year-old Buffalo man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police received an anonymous tip that the woman would possibly be involved in a drug purchase in the parking lot of a Union Road supermarket. An officer observed the woman walking in the parking lot and then enter a suspicious vehicle that was driven by the man. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed the man reaching toward the center console. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged cocaine on the front seat. Police also located $1,770 in the man's possession.
DWI...A 56-year-old Detroit, Michigan man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerving within a lane while traveling on Dick Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .19.
POSSESSION...A 27-year-old Buffalo man and a 22-year-old West Seneca man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 22-year-old, which was traveling westbound on Broadway, displaying darkly tinted windows and a loud exhaust system. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the interior. The 22-yearold reportedly acted nervously and stated that the 27-year-old put a marijuana pipe in a bag. Police located the alleged item in a bag upon which the 27-year-old sat.
POSSESSION/ DISORDERLY CONDUCT...A 19-year-old Creekside Drive man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Creekside location on a report of suspicious vehicles. Upon arrival, police observed several males, including the 19-year-old man, walking out of a field. When police asked a male what he was doing, the 19-year-old reportedly began using profanity. The 19- year-old reportedly continued to yell profanities even after officers asked him to stop doing so. Police took the 19- year-old into custody and located alleged marijuana in his possession.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF...A 28- year-old Normandy Drive woman was arrested after police responded to an Ivanhoe Road address on a report of an unknown person "kicking in a door." Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the woman yelled at her and then punched and kicked the victim in her head, arms and neck. The woman then allegedly kicked the front door of the residence. Police observed injuries to the victim and took the woman into custody.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 50- year-old Carefree Lane woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the woman kicked a door and a glass pane during an argument. The woman also allegedly kicked a second victim and ran from the location. The woman later returned to the residence after police arrived and was taken into custody.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 28- year-old Walden Avenue man was arrested after police responded to a Walden address on a report of an argument. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man poured a beverage on her. A background check revealed that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man.
POSSESSION...A 31-year-old West Seneca man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the area of Union Road on a report of a possibly intoxicated driver that was "swerving in traffic." Police observed the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, swerving between lanes while traveling northbound on Union Road near Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed in plain view a bottle of pills. The man reportedly appeared under the influence of drugs and could not speak clearly. The man reportedly gave conflicting accounts of his previous whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged cocaine in a plastic container, as well as Suboxone, Alprazolam, Clonazepam and Ambien pills.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 36- year-old West Seneca man was arrested after police responded to John F. Kennedy Middle School on a report of a female student skipping school. School administrators stated that the student was possibly in a wooded area on Creekside Drive with the man- her father. Police located the man and the female near a camp fire on Creekside. A background check revealed that the female had a stay-away order of protection against the man. The man was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child because he reportedly assisted the female in her absence from school.
ASSAULT...A 37-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Claudette Court address on a report of an assault. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man repeatedly made sexual advances toward her. When the victim told the man to stop bothering her, the man allegedly bit the victim's arm and pushed her into a wall, causing lacerations on the victim's thumb and arm. Police then located the man outside the residence.
POSSESSION...A 43-year-old Peachtree Road man and a 45-year-old Hanwell Place, Depew man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police stopped a vehicle driven by the 43-year-old, which was traveling eastbound on Broadway, for a traffic infraction and due to her vehicle's darkly tinted windows. Police observed in plain view an alleged marijuana cigarette in an ashtray. During a pat search, an officer located an alleged "crack" cocaine pipe in the 43-year-old's back pants pocket, as well as alleged "crack" cocaine in the 45-year-old's front pants pocket. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged "crack" cocaine and an alleged marijuana pipe in the center console, as well as an alleged marijuana pipe on the back seat.
POSSESSION OF BURGLAR'S TOOLS...A 27-year-old Linda Drive man and a 16-year-old Marilyn Drive male were arrested after police conducted a checkpoint at a Cayuga Road junk yard following recent larcenies of auto parts. Police observed the man and the 16-year-old walking through a parking lot next to the junk yard. During a pat search, an officer located a screwdriver in the 16-year-old's left front pants pocket, as well as two beer cans in a backpack that the man was carrying. The 16-year-old stated that he drank beer with the man.
MAY 17
HARASSMENT/ ASSAULT... A 37-year-old Hatch Court woman was arrested after police responded to a Hatch address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police determined that the woman punched and scratched a victim during an argument. The woman also reportedly refused to leave the residence, even after the victim asked her several times. The woman also allegedly threw a computer, speakers, vases and candles to the ground, damaging the items. Also, the woman threw a can of beer at a second victim. Police later located the woman at her residence.
ROBBERY...A 23-year-old Kenville Road man was arrested after police responded to a Genesee Street address on a report of theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated that during an argument, the man took a female victim's purse, as well as her young child, and entered a vehicle. Police were able to stop the vehicle and returned to the victim her purse and child.
POSSESSION...A 27-year-old man and 32-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 32-yearold traveling eastbound on Broadway with its driver's view obstructed. The vehicle's rear license plate was also loosely attached, and a traffic stop was initiated. Police observed an alleged "crack" pipe near the front passenger's seat. A background check revealed that the 27-year-old had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo.

DWI...A 22-year-old Starlite Avenue woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling westbound on William Street with an inadequately illuminated tail light. A traffic stop was initiated on Starlite and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the woman reportedly "began to have a panic attack." Alco sensor: refused. Breath test: .03. A background check revealed that the woman had a previous DWI conviction in West Seneca in April 2005, making this arrest a felony.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT/ TRESPASSING...A 30-year-old Loretto Drive man was arrested after police responded to a Beach Road address on a report of a violation of an order of protection. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man earlier knocked on her front door, then ran from the location. A background check revealed that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man. Police later located the man at his residence.
POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Broadway with its driver's view obstructed. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed four plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in the center console.
ASSAULT...A 33-year-old Lewiston man was arrested after police responded to an Aero Drive adult entertainment club on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers observed Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority police restraining the man. A victim told police that the man had behaved "crudely" toward club employees. When club personnel asked the man to leave the location, the man allegedly shouted profanities toward the victim, then punched the victim in the face several times, causing various lacerations. The victim was able to restrain the man until NFTA police arrived.
POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Clarence man; 24-year-old Amherst man and a 21-year-old Lackawanna man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the Clarence man traveling eastbound on Genesee Street with inadequate tail lights. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the Clarence man's license was suspended and that he had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged narcotics. An officer also located alleged marijuana in the Clarence man's possession.

POSSESSION...A 28-year-old Rondelay Drive man and a 34-year-old Buffalo man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police radar paced a vehicle driven by the 34-year-old, which was traveling northbound on Harlem Road, at 72 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the 34-year-old, an officer detected a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged "crack" cocaine in a folded-up piece of paper.
POSSESSION...A 38-year-old man and a 34-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the men not wearing seatbelts while traveling in a vehicle that was heading eastbound on Doat Street. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from the interior. The 38- year-old reportedly stated he had marijuana in his pants pocket, where an officer located the alleged item. Police also located an alleged marijuana cigarette in an ash tray. A background check revealed that the 38-year-old's license was suspended.
POSSESSION...A 35-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a Union Road gas station on a report of a suspicious male in his vehicle. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, "slumped over" in the driver's seat of his vehicle. Officers located a plastic bag containing alleged "crack" on the man's lap, as well as an alleged "crack" cocaine pipe in the man's pocket. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located another alleged "crack" pipe on the front passenger's seat.
ASSAULT...A 28-year-old Walden Avenue man was arrested after police responded to a Walden tavern on a report of an assault. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man yelled at him, then threw a beer bottle toward the victim, barely missing the victim's head. The man then allegedly struck the victim in the forehead with an unknown object, causing a laceration. Police later located the man standing outside of his residence.
ASSAULT...A 49-year-old Broadway man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man punched her in the face twice and yelled at her.

POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Gould Avenue, Depew woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a 9-1-1 call at the woman's residence. Upon arrival, police observed the woman holding a young child while sitting at a table that contained what appeared to be several "crack" cocaine rocks. An officer observed the woman attempt to place the rocks in her sweatshirt pocket. Police then located several alleged "crack" cocaine rocks in a pill box, as well as four syringes, two metal spoons and a pipe containing alleged marijuana elsewhere in the residence.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 39- year-old Main Street, Depew man was arrested after the man reportedly acted in a disruptive manner in Depew Village Court. While exiting the court room, the man reportedly yelled, "You're a rotten crook" at a male. Police determined that the male had an order of protection against the man.
DWI...A 25-year-old Colony Street, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after the man's vehicle's high beams were illuminated and shined at a patrol car while traveling northbound on Transit Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.
