St. Mary's senior signs letter of intent to Niagara
St. Mary's of Lancaster High School senior Rebecca Suchy recently signed a national letter of intent to attend Niagara University on a volleyball scholarship.
Suchy served as a team captain for the St. Mary's varsity volleyball team and was selected as the Monsignor Martin Association Most Valuable Player this past season.
She was the starting outside hitter for the last three years on the Lady Lancers' squad that won three consecutive league and New York State championships.
Suchy was also a First Team All-Western New York selection and Junior Olympic invitee in 2006.
