APRIL 15

DWI...A 39-year-old Hamilton, Ontario woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle cross over double yellow lines while traveling westbound on George Urban Boulevard near Dick Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy eyes and slurred speech. The woman reportedly stated that she had consumed alcohol earlier. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .11.

DWI...A 42-year-old man with no address given was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling southbound on Union Road, at 60 miles per hour in a 40 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. The man reportedly stated that he consumed two beers earlier. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

ASSAULT...A 31-year-old Ellwood Place woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the woman struck her several times with a frying pan.

HARASSMENT...A 54-year-old Barbados Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man grabbed her during an argument, which caused the victim to fall down.

POSSESSION/TAMPERING... A 34-year-old The Avenue man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers brought the man to police headquarters on a separate incident. Police located alleged "crack" cocaine inside a rolled-up dollar bill under the back seat of a patrol car in which the man had been sitting.

ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD...A 34-year-old Wheaton, Maryland woman was arrested after police responded to a Genesee Street hotel on a report of a young child left alone in a room. Upon an officer's arrival, the child reportedly stated that the woman had left him alone for two days while the woman worked for the weekend in Buffalo. The woman later returned to the hotel and was taken into custody.

DWI...A 61-year-old West Seneca woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the woman's vehicle, which was traveling southbound on Union Road, at 58 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The woman reportedly stated that she consumed "a few" beers earlier at a Walden Avenue restaurant. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

DWI...A 33-year-old East End Avenue man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Walden Avenue in an oncoming lane of traffic and without its headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had "glazed" eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

APRIL 16

POSSESSION...A 38-year-old man and 35-year-old man, both of Lancaster, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 38-yearold traveling eastbound on Broadway without its rear license plate illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the vehicle's registration was suspended. Police located a "chore boy" on the window sill. During a pat search, an officer located alleged cocaine residue in the 38-yearold's possession.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 30- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Windwood Court address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man earlier refused to leave her residence. A background check revealed that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man. Police located the man on the corner of Genesee Street and Harlem Road.

POSSESSION... A 30-year-old Arnold, Missouri man and 48-year-old Pensacola, Florida man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 30-year-old traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with an expired inspection sticker. A traffic stop was initiated and both of the men stated that they were salesmen "selling soap to area businesses." Police located alleged "crack" cocaine on the floor between the two front seats.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF

STOLEN PROPERTY...A 40-year-old East Toulon Drive woman was arrested after police responded to a French Road discount store on a report of stolen property. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the woman concealed several hygiene products under her jacket, then attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.

ASSAULT...A 46-year-old Allison Drive woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's residence on a report of a fight. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the woman punched him in the face several times during an argument.

APRIL 17

POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL UNDER THE AGE OF 21...An 18- year-old Bennett Road man was arrested after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling southbound on Union Road, at 45 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed a case of beer in the back seat. The man then stated that he was 18 years old and that the beer belonged to him.

DWI...A 34-year-old Redoak Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle drifting between lanes several times while traveling westbound on the Kensington Expressway. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "very slurred" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .15.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 38- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Losson Garden Drive address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police determined that during an argument, the man threw a cellular phone at the victim's face, causing lacerations, and punched the victim in the nose. The man also allegedly kicked and choked the victim before he fled the residence. Police located the man at a Union Road restaurant.

POSSESSION...A 32-year-old Kenmore man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after officers brought the man to police headquarters on a separate incident. Police located an alleged "crack" pipe under the back seat of a patrol car in which the man had been sitting.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A FORGED INSTRUMENT... A 36- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Walden Avenue with inadequate brake lights. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo. Police observed a forged inspection sticker on the vehicle.

APRIL 18 DWI...A 28-year-old Temple Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle drift across double yellow lines several times while traveling northbound on Transit Road near Losson Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "somewhat slurred" speech. The man reportedly stated that he consumed five beers earlier at a Depew tavern. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 21- year-old Ridge Park Avenue man was arrested after police responded to an Allison Drive residence on a report of an order of protection violation. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man damaged a door to her residence by punching it. The man then allegedly refused to leave the residence. A background check revealed the victim had an order of protection against the man.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 47- year-old Meadow Place man was arrested after police responded to a Jeffrey Drive address on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, police observed the man, against whom the victim had a stay-away order of protection, in the victim's residence.

APRIL 19

DWI...A 21-year-old Reiman Street, Sloan man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man talking on a cellular phone while operating a vehicle traveling westbound on Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "slightly slurred" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .15.

HARASSMENT...A 19-year-old Orchard Park man was arrested after police responded to a Lovejoy Street, Sloan address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man spat in her face and hit her in the mouth before fleeing the residence. Police later located the man at a Shanley Street tavern.

TRESPASSING/POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 34- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Transit Road location on a report of a larceny in which the man was involved. Police located the man operating his vehicle westbound on William Street and initiated a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed an attached trailer containing scrap metal that the man had allegedly taken from a Transit Road work site. A complainant said he observed the man take the scrap metal earlier on Transit and leave the location.

POSSESSION...A 37-year-old Williamsville man was arrested after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with its driver's view obstructed by a hanging object. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly told conflicting accounts of his previous whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged cocaine and an electronic scale.

DWI...A 41-year-old Fonda Drive woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle weaving within its lane while traveling westbound on George Urban Boulevard without a driver's side mirror. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .21.

APRIL 20

DWI...A 30-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Galleria Drive without its headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and an officer observed in plain view an open beer bottle in the center console. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .20.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/ HARASSMENT...A 22-year-old Cannas Court man was arrested after police responded to a Donlen Drive address on a report of an intoxicated male pounding on a door. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the man threatened another male with physical violence. Police later located the man at his residence.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 32- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Winkler Road address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man came near her residence and refused to leave. A background check revealed that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man.

ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD...A 22-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Thruway Plaza parking lot on a report of a young child left unattended in a vehicle. Upon arrival, police observed three young children sitting inside a vehicle. The woman returned to the vehicle approximately 15 minutes later and was taken into custody.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY... A 19-year-old Orchard Place man and a 17-year-old Eastvale Court male were arrested after police responded to a Zent Court address on a report of a male attempting to break into the residence via the front door. Police observed the man and the 17-year-old walking southbound on Zent. The man reportedly ran from police but was apprehended by an officer nearby. The 17-year-old allegedly used profanity and fought with police until he was sprayed with pepper-spray. A victim stated the man and the 17-yearold had harassed her earlier and attempted to break into her residence by kicking at the front door.

APRIL 21

HARASSMENT...A 24-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Glenwood Court address on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man yelled at her, " You better watch your back," and then threw an object at her vehicle. Police later located the man at his address.

P O S S E S S I O N / FA L S E PERSONATION...A 24-year-old Buffalo woman and a 49-year-old Buffalo man with no address given were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the woman displaying unregistered license plates while traveling eastbound on Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman stated she had a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in her sweater pocket, where police located the alleged item. An officer also located an alleged marijuana cigar in an ash tray. The man reportedly gave police a false name, but a background check revealed his actual identity.

DWI...A 23-year-old Euclid Avenue man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on the Kensington Expressway, at 80 miles per hour in a 50 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated near the New York State Thruway and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .09.

DWI...A 35-year-old Gualbert Avenue man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Walden Avenue with a cracked windshield. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .12.

HARASSMENT...A 34-year-old South Colby Street woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the woman threatened to hit her with a hammer and shoot her.

APRIL 14

DWI/POSSESSION...A 23-year-old Irving Terrace, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling westbound on Terrace Boulevard without its headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and "impaired" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .23. During a search of the vehicle, police located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana and two alleged marijuana pipes.

DWI...A 48-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerve in and out of a lane several times while traveling southbound on Dick Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

DWI...A 56-year-old Tonawanda man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Dick Road address on a report of an accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. After arriving and interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .15.

APRIL 17

DWI...A 40-year-old Caroline Lane, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle nearly strike a curb while traveling northbound on Dick Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot watery eyes and slurred speech.
