MARCH 4

POSSESSION...A 24-year-old West Seneca man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Broadway with its driver's view obstructed. A traffic stop was initiated and an officer observed a prescription bottle without a label. Police located Hydrocodone pills in the bottle.

POSSESSION/RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT...A 31-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling at an estimated 100 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour speed zone while heading eastbound on Clinton Street. A traffic stop was initiated after the woman's vehicle nearly collided with another vehicle near Union Road. The woman reportedly yelled that her brother "had been shot" in Buffalo and that she was traveling to see him. However, a victim, who was a passenger, stated that the woman had threatened to "kill her by means of a highspeed crash." Police located three Ecstasy pills under the back seat of a patrol car in which the woman had been sitting. The woman also admitted that her brother had not been shot.

POSSESSION...An 18-year-old man and 18-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Walden Galleria store on a report of a larceny. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the man and the woman had stolen $60 in earrings. During a pat search, police located alleged marijuana in both the man's and woman's possessions.

POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police stopped the man's vehicle, which was traveling on Pine Ridge Road, for a traffic infraction. An officer observed alleged marijuana residue on the driver's side armrest. During a pat search, police located two plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in the man's jacket pocket and another bag of alleged marijuana in the center console.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 25- year-old Orchard Park man was arrested after police responded to an Arthur Musarra Parkway address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man came to her residence and began arguing, later pushing the victim to the ground. Police determined that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 25- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to an Ivanhoe Road address on a report of a suspicious male. Upon arrival, police found the man, who matched the report's description, in the back yard of a victim's residence. A background check revealed that the victim had a stay-away order of protection against the man.

MARCH 5

MENACING...A 57-year-old Anna Marie Terrace man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that she and the man began to argue and that the man held a glass near the victim's face. The man then reportedly threw a telephone at the victim.

ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD/ TRESPASSING...A 21-year-old Kilbourne Road man was arrested after police responded to a Kilbourne address on a report of a "peeping tom." Upon an officer's arrival, a witness said he observed the man looking into a bathroom window at a female child showering. When the witness yelled at the man, the man reportedly ran from the scene toward East Grand Boulevard and then back toward Kilbourne. An officer was able to subdue the man, and police found footprints matching the man's shoes near the bathroom window of the female's residence.

MARCH 6

HARASSMENT...A 21-year-old Garden Village Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man grabbed his neck and pushed him. The man also reportedly fought with officers before he was sprayed with pepper spray.

POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Amherst man, 18-year-old Federal Avenue man and a 16-year-old Amherst male were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police stopped a vehicle driven by the 16-year-old, which was traveling on Cedargrove Circle, for a traffic infraction. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the interior. The 20-year-old and 18-yearold, who were passengers, admitted to having marijuana in their pockets, where police found the alleged items.

POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Beach Road man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle fail to yield for oncoming traffic while making a left turn from Holland Avenue onto Beach. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the interior. Police found an alleged marijuana pipe and a bag containing alleged marijuana in the man's pocket.

MARCH 7

POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Williamsville man and 38-year-old Lancaster woman were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the man pass through a red light while traveling southbound on Pine Ridge Road. A traffic stop was initiated and the man and woman reportedly told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, police located alleged cocaine in an ashtray.

POSSESSION/DISORDERLY CONDUCT...A 25-year-old Penora Street, Depew man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to the area of Transit Road near Genesee Street on a report of a male walking down the center of Transit Road. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, walking in an oncoming traffic lane and obstructing the path of vehicles. The man, who was reportedly intoxicated, argued with police before he was taken into custody. An officer found alleged marijuana in the man's left pants pocket.

POSSESSION...An 18-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with its driver's view obstructed. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed the vehicle's license plates were suspended. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a Lortab pill inside a dollar bill. At police headquarters, an officer located a small packet containing alleged heroin in the man's possession.

AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT... A 30-year-old Blasdell man was arrested after police responded to a Nagel Drive address on a report of unwanted text messages received by a victim. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man text-messaged her while she was at work. The victim also alleged that the man stood outside the victim's workplace and later grabbed her arm when the victim came outside. The man also reportedly ripped the victim's cellular phone from her hand. Police later had to physically subdue the man.

OBSTRUCTING GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION... A 48- year-old Linda Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's address to assist crisis services with a separate incident. When an officer arrived, the man reportedly became angry and refused to place his hands behind his head. The man also fought with police before he was sprayed with pepper spray.

MARCH 8

DWI/RESISTING ARREST... A 23-year-old West Seneca woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle cross over double yellow lines while traveling northbound on Harlem Road near Cayuga Creek Road. The woman's vehicle's interior light was also illuminated, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. After performing sobriety tests, the woman, who was unable to produce any identification, reportedly attempted to push past an officer. After she was placed in a patrol car, the woman yelled at officers and was also uncooperative during the booking process, refusing to remove a tongue piercing. The woman also refused both an alco sensor and breath test. A background check revealed that the woman had a previous DWI conviction in July 2004, making this arrest a felony.

DWI...A 50-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle cross over double yellow lines three times while traveling southbound on Harlem Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .15. Breath test: .16.

POSSESSION...An 18-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man smoking what appeared to be marijuana in a Union Road parking lot. During a pat search, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana and an alleged marijuana cigarette in the man's possession.

ASSAULT...A 19-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to an Ivanhoe Road address on a report of two males "fighting over a girl." Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated that the man punched a victim, who was a guest of the witness. The man also reportedly choked the victim before police arrived.

MARCH 9

ASSAULT...A 51-year-old Seminole Parkway man was arrested after police responded to a Nokomis Parkway residence on a report of possible physical abuse between a male and a female. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man had assaulted her.

POSSESSION...Two 25-year-old men and a 30-year-old man, all of Buffalo, as well as an 18-year-old Vern Lane woman and 18-year-old Lancaster man, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 30-yearold traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with an obstructed license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the 30-yearold had an outstanding bench warrant in Cheektowaga. Police located two bags containing alleged "crack," two Morphine pills and an alleged "crack" pipe in the 30-year-old's possession. During a search of the vehicle, police located three alleged "crack" pipes and two bags containing alleged "crack."

RESISTING ARREST...A 30-yearold Lancaster man was arrested after police observed the man yelling profanities at customers inside a Walden Galleria restaurant. The man also reportedly stated he was going to "kill everyone" inside the restaurant and that he was "going to get his gun." After the man went outside and then came back in the mall, police attempted to apprehend him. the man, who was grunting loudly, resisted officers and kicked at police before he was sprayed with pepper spray.

MARCH 10

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 26- year-old Wagner Street, Sloan man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man kicked a hole in a kitchen wall.

DWI/POSSESSION...A 35-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance after police radar paced the woman's vehicle, which was traveling northbound on Harlem Road, at 53 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the woman had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .14. During a search of the vehicle, officers located 40 Orphanadrine pills and five Lexapro pills in a bottle inside the woman's purse.

DWI...A 22-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the woman's vehicle, which was traveling northbound on Union Road, at 52 miles per hour in a 40 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed that the woman's license was suspended. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .13.

DWI...A 45-year-old David Avenue man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle weaving in and out of its lane while traveling on Harlem Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT... A 70-year-old Moorman Drive woman was arrested after police responded to a Crandon Boulevard residence on a report of a threatening letter. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim showed police a letter the woman wrote and dropped off at the victim's residence. The letter allegedly made threats to the victim. After police arrived at the woman's residence, the woman admitted to writing the letter.

DWI...A 43-year-old Amherst man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on Broadway, at 40 miles per hour in a 30 mph speed zone. The man was also reportedly talking on a cellular phone and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test. A background check revealed that the man had a previous DWI conviction, making this arrest a felony.

MARCH 4

DWI...A 43-year-old Olmstead Avenue, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the area of French and Transit roads on a report of an erratic driver. Police observed the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, nearly strike a snow bank while traveling eastbound on French. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .16.

MARCH 6

POSSESSION...A 36-year-old Broadway, Depew man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a 9-1-1 call from the man's residence. Upon arrival, an officer observed a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana on a table in the living room.

POSSESSION... A 23-year-old Kenmore woman was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police determined that the woman was operating her vehicle on Walden Avenue with a suspended license. A traffic stop was initiated and during a search of the vehicle, an officer located two small plastic bags containing alleged marijuana.

MARCH 9

DWI/ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD... A 44- year-old Columbia Avenue, Depew man was arrested after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a stop sign on the corner of Harvard and Princeton avenues. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed that the man's 11-yearold son was a passenger in the vehicle. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test. A background check revealed that the man's license was suspended for a previous DWI conviction, making this arrest a felony.
