Stem cell research
Dear Editor:
Last year's veto of stem cell research by President Bush was due to the fact that this research involved the creation of and destruction of human life through embryonic stem cell research.
It is obvious that our nation hasn't learned from past history, when Nazi Germany also experimented on the lives of Jewish people for the sake of curing and improving the health of "superior" races.
We should not be surprised that Congressman Brian Higgins would support embryonic stem cell research. Higgins also supports the extermination of unborn human beings by abortion.
