St. Mary’s girls soccer team gets sportsmanship award
Ken Lindstrom, head of Western New York Soccer Officials, recently presented the St. Mary’s girls varsity soccer team the WNY Sportsmanship Award for this past fall season.
St. Mary’s, which just completed its first year of girls varsity soccer, received the highest-ever score in sportsmanship voting. In addition, St. Mary’s head coach Amy Weolek was named WNY Girls Soccer Coach of the Year, as her Lady Lancers defeated Buffalo Seminary in the Catholic League Small School championship.
