NOVEMBER 26
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 36- year-old Shanley Street man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a male smoking "crack." Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that she returned to the address earlier and saw several items damaged in the kitchen. The man later allegedly broke the driver's side front window of the victim's vehicle.
POSSESSION... A 28-year-old Atlanta, Georgia man and a 28-year-old Rochester man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the Atlanta man displayed a temporary registration sticker at a Walden Avenue residence. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed the Atlanta man making "furtive movements." During a pat search, police located a bag containing alleged marijuana in the Rochester man's pocket. During a search of the vehicle, an officer found a bag containing alleged marijuana on the floor near the driver's seat. A background check revealed that the Atlanta man's license was suspended.
DWI...A 30-year-old Beach Road woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Union Road store on a report of a dispute in which the woman was involved. A witness stated the woman had driven her vehicle to the store. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The woman reportedly admitted that she was "too drunk to drive" and refused to submit to field sobriety tests, as well as both an alco sensor and breath test.
P O S S E S S I O N / FA L S E PERSONATION...A 21-year-old man and 24-year-old woman, both of Brockport, and a 26-year-old Buffalo man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the 21-year-old with its driver's view obstructed by a hanging object from the rear view mirror. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the interior. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a small amount of alleged marijuana.The 21-year-old man and 26-year-old man reportedly gave police false names, but a background check revealed their actual identities.
NOVEMBER 27
FALSE PERSONATION... A 41- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Genesee Street address on a report of a panhandler. Upon arrival, an officer observed the man talking to several customers, who stated Floyd had asked them for money. The man reportedly gave officers a false name, but a background check revealed his actual identity.
ASSAULT... A 22-year-old Hoerner Avenue man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of an unwelcome guest. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man punched her in the mouth, causing a small cut on the victim's lip.
POSSESSION/RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT...A 41-year-old Lynnette Court man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the area of French and Borden roads on a report of a reckless driver who nearly struck other vehicles with his vehicle and was driving in doughnut patterns. Police located the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, in the driveway of the man's residence. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located an alleged "crack" pipe.
HARASSMENT...A 47-year-old Nugget Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a male beating a female. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man pushed her to the ground.
LARCENY...A 27-year-old West Mayberry Drive woman was arrested after police responded to a Transit Road department store on a report of employee theft. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the woman, who was working at a cash register, had reduced the prices on three separate items on different occasions by a total of $140.
NOVEMBER 28
POSSESSION...A 24-year-old man and 23-year-old man, both of Buffalo, as well as an 18-year-old Lancaster man and a 20-year-old Charnwood Court man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after an officer observed the 18-year-old and 20- year-old acting suspiciously near a vehicle in which the 23-year-old and 24- year-old were occupants. The officer observed the 24-year-old reaching into his pocket, where police later located alleged "crack" cocaine and $1,266. Police also found alleged marijuana in the 23-year-old's pocket. The 18-year-old and 20-year-old admitted that they had attempted to buy drugs from the 23-yearold and 24-year-old. Police determined that the 20-year-old had also set up a heroin purchase. The 20-year-old stated that he owed the 24-year-old money from a previous drug transaction. The 24-year-old reportedly stated he obtained the large amount of money from "cutting hair."
RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT... An 18-year-old Pheasant Lane man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim, who is pregnant, stated the man pushed her, causing the victim to fall down a flight of stairs. The man then fled the location but was located in front of a Parwood Drive address.
NOVEMBER 29
DWI...A 35-year-old Williamsville man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle, which was traveling northbound on Beach Road near Genesee Street, at 52 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. The man's vehicle also reportedly swerved over double yellow lines several times, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a "very strong" odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "very slurred" speech. The man stated he had consumed three beers earlier. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .18.
RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT... A 26-year-old Sable Palm Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man had grabbed her neck and choked her before a witness intervened.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY/ HARASSMENT...An 18-year-old Buf- falo woman was arrested after police responded to a Union Road gas station on a report of a larceny of $4,000 in money orders. Upon arrival, police determined the woman attempted to use six stolen Western Union money orders, which were valued at $1,700. A victim stated the money orders had been stolen from her earlier. The woman was reportedly uncooperative at police headquarters, kicking a female guard and punching an officer. She was then forcibly subdued and placed in a cell.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 46- year-old McNaughton Avenue man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue tavern on a report of a dispute. Upon arrival, an officer determined that the man had pushed a victim several times. A background check revealed the victim had an order of protection against the man. The man reportedly attempted to pull away from officers and refused to be handcuffed before he was forcibly subdued.
NOVEMBER 30
POSSESSION/RESISTING ARREST...A 21-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle, in which the man was a passenger, traveling westbound on Cleveland Drive without a front license plate. The vehicle's driver's view was also obstructed by a hanging object from the rear view mirror, and a traffic stop was initiated. The man and the other occupants in the vehicle reportedly told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. The man also made several furtive movements, and an officer located a bag containing alleged marijuana in his possession. The man reportedly attempted to kick an officer and was uncooperative before he was physically subdued.
DWI...A 37-year-old Fairelm Lane man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerve slightly while traveling eastbound on Vern Lane. The man also appeared to be talking on his cellular phone, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test.
DWI/POSSESSION...A 25-year-old Alexander woman was arrested for driving
while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana after police radar paced the woman's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on Genesee Street, at 52 mph in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy eyes. The woman stated she had consumed alcohol earlier at an adult entertainment club. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .11. Breath test: .10. Police located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the woman's purse.
POSSESSION...A 32-year-old Audet Drive man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling on Halstead Avenue with an expired inspection sticker and an inadequately illuminated license plate. During a search of the vehicle, police located a plastic bag containing alleged "crack" cocaine in the center console, as well as an alleged "crack" pipe and a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the trunk.
POSSESSION...A 41-year-old Buffalo man and a 23-year-old North Tonawanda man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 41-year-old swerve between lanes while traveling northbound on Union Road. A traffic stop was initiated and the 41-year-old reportedly stated he "didn't have a license with him." During a search of the vehicle, an officer located an envelope containing an alleged heroin packet. The 23-year-old gave officers a false name and, during the booking process, stated he had two envelopes containing heroin packets "in his rectum." A background check revealed the 23- year-old's actual identity, and that he had an outstanding arrest warrant.
POSSESSION OF BURGLAR'S TOOLS...An 18-year-old Buffalo man and a minor were arrested after police responded to a French Road store on a report of a larceny. Upon arrival, an officer observed the man and the minor, who matched the report's description, near a vending machine. The man reportedly stated he attempted to "buy a Pepsi," but the machine wouldn't accept his money. A background check revealed that the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Tonawanda. A witness stated he observed the man open a vending machine and reach inside. The minor reportedly acted as a "lookout." The minor, who had pliers, told police that the man had keys to open the vending machine.
Police located $57, which had been taken from the machine, in the man's possession.
FORGERY...A 26-year-old Dunkirk woman was arrested after the woman gave officers a false name and date of birth at police headquarters. The woman also had a false license in her possession and signed the name of another individual on her fingerprint cards.
POSSESSION...A 53-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle with hazard lights illuminated while parked on the side of Aero Drive near Rein Road. The man was reportedly unable to produce his license. The man gave police a false name and date of birth. With assistance from a K-9 unit, police located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana between the front passenger seat and the center console. A background check revealed that the the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 19-year-old Colden woman was arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria department store on a report of a larceny. Upon an officer's arrival, a store manager stated the woman stole a $200 purse. The woman later admitted that she had stolen the item.
POSSESSION...A 25-year-old woman and a 17-year-old female, both of Buffalo, were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the 17-yearold traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with its driver's view obstructed by hanging objects. A traffic stop was initiated and the two females told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. The woman handed an officer a glass cigar tube containing alleged marijuana cigarettes.
DECEMBER 1
POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Lancaster woman; a 38-year-old Orchard Park man; and a 24-year-old Dartmouth Drive, Depew man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 22-year-old traveling eastbound on George Urban Boulevard with an inadequately illuminated passenger's side brake light. A traffic stop was initiated and the 22-year-old, who couldn't produce her license, reportedly appeared "cracked out." The 22-year-old stated she and the 38-yearold had been shooting heroin for approximately 12 hours, then picked up the 24-year-old. An officer observed track marks on the 22-year-old's arms. The 22- year-old also stated she had a "crack" pipe in the vehicle, but that the officer should be careful because there were "used hypodermic needles all over." Police found an alleged "crack" pipe on the back seat, as well as a hypodermic needle in the center console and a bloody glove on the floor of the back seat.
HARASSMENT...A 55-year-old Lancaster man was arrested after police responded to the area of Genesee Street and Holtz Drive on a report of a road rage incident. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated his vehicle moved close to the man's vehicle while traveling on Genesee because of road obstructions and strong winds. The man later exited his vehicle and yelled at the victim, who said the man then grabbed and punched him.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 37-year-old Grand Island woman was arrested after police responded to a Genesee Street hotel on a report of customer trouble in the bar area. Upon an officer's arrival, a manager stated that he wanted the woman removed from the location because she acted in an unruly manner. The woman later yelled profanities toward an officer in the lobby.
DWI...A 30-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to an Idlebrook Drive address on a report of an accident in which the woman's vehicle was involved. Upon arrival, police observed the woman's vehicle on a front lawn. While interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .12.
DECEMBER 2
DWI...A 20-year-old Slate Creek Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerving while traveling eastbound on French Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .15.
DWI...A 26-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the woman's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on Cleveland Drive, at 20 mph in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated near Century Road and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .17.
HARASSMENT...A 43-year-old Chapel Avenue man and 21-year-old Southgate Road man were arrested after police responded to the 43-year-old's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, the 21-year-old stated that the 43-year-old grabbed and slapped him because the 43-year-old believed the 21-year-old owed him money. A witness stated the 21-year-old later returned to the residence and broke a window.
POSSESSION...A 48-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police took the man into custody for having an outstanding Buffalo arrest warrant. Upon arriving at police headquarters, an officer located alleged marijuana on the back seat of a patrol car in which the man had been sitting.

DWI/POSSESSION...A 41-year-old Kokomo Street, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Terrace Boulevard with an obstructed license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .19. Breath test: .13. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana under the driver's seat.
NOVEMBER 30
ASSAULT...A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Penora Street address on a report of a possible stabbing. Upon arrival, an officer observed a victim, who was yelling, "I just got stabbed." The victim stated the man had come out from behind a tree near the residence earlier and asked, "Where's my money?" When the victim did not comply with him, the man allegedly stabbed the victim in his stomach with a knife. The victim also suffered a wrist injury after attempting to stop the man from stabbing him again. A witness stated that she had seen the man in the street in front of the residence earlier.
