NOVEMBER 5
ASSAULT...A 32-year-old Amherst woman was arrested after police responded to a Dick Road tavern on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the woman slapped his face several times and that she punched his mouth, causing a laceration.
POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL UNDER THE AGE OF 21...An 18- year-old Jane Lane, Depew man and 18- year-old Gabrielle Drive woman were arrested after police observed the man run from near a dumpster into a vehicle at a Losson Road location. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, who was a passenger, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage. An officer also observed several beer bottles in plain view, which the woman admitted to possessing.
ASSAULT...A 23-year-old Alpine Place man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man punched her in the face twice during an argument. An officer observed that the victim's face was swollen and took the man into custody.
POSSESSION...A 23-year-old man, and an 18-year-old man, both of Buffalo, as well as a 21-year-old Transit Road, Depew woman were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 23-year-old traveling westbound on Clinton Street near Harlem Road with only one headlight illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed alleged marijuana on the 23- year-old's shirt, as well as an alleged marijuana cigarette on the 23-year-old's lap. During a search of the vehicle, officers located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana next to the center console, a partially burnt marijuana cigarette in an ashtray, Clonazepam pills in a pocket of the driver's seat and alleged cocaine in a cigarette pack. A background check revealed that the 23-yearold's license was suspended.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 33- year-old Amherst man was arrested after police responded to a Cleveland Drive address on a report of a larceny. Upon arrival, police observed the man and a victim involved in an altercation. After an officer broke up the fight, the man reportedly kept shouting profanities and struggling with police before he was sprayed with pepper spray. The victim stated the man had demanded the victim tell him the address of another person. When the victim refused to do so, the man allegedly broke the victim's glasses, as well as jumped on and choked the victim.
DWI...A 28-year-old Francis Avenue, Sloan man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerve in and out of a lane while traveling westbound on Genesee Street. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly stated he had earlier consumed four mixed drinks at an Aero Drive adult entertainment club. An officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .10.
NOVEMBER 6
DWI...A 35-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a victim's claim that the man's vehicle struck the victim's vehicle in a Clinton Street restaurant parking lot. Upon an officer's arrival, the man denied hitting the victim's vehicle. An officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on the man and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "very slurred" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test.
POSSESSION...A 43-year-old Angola man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Broadway without a properly illuminated license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and both the man and a passenger reportedly told conflicting accounts of their whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, an officer
located an alleged "crack" pipe in the center console.
POSSESSION...A 26-year-old North Tonawanda man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with an inadequate muffler. A traffic stop was initiated and the man couldn't produce his license. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged marijuana in the glove compartment.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT/ POSSESSION...A 42-year-old Theodore, Alabama woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a Buell Avenue hotel on a report of a disorderly female. Upon arrival, police observed the woman screaming profanities and disturbing nearby guests and employees. At police headquarters, an officer located Oxycodone and Hydrocodone pills in the woman's possession.
POSSESSION...A 28-year-old Delavan woman and 50-year-old Franklinville man were arrested for criminal possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the woman traveling eastbound on Broadway with a mud-covered license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and during a pat search, an officer located a plastic bag and jar, both of which contained alleged marijuana, in the woman's possession. Police also found a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the man's pocket, as well as a jar containing alleged marijuana under the front passenger's seat.
NOVEMBER 7
DWI...A 24-year-old Clarence man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a report of larcenies occurring at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Police observed the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, make a U-turn while heading southbound on Cayuga Road. A traffic stop was initiated and the man was reportedly "falling down drunk." An officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on the man and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 27- year-old Boll Street, Sloan woman was arrested after police responded to a Boll Street address on a report of an order of protection violation. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the woman threw a hot pot of chili on his face, then fled the scene. A background check revealed the victim had an order of protection against the woman. Police then located the woman on Broadway.
DWI...A 24-year-old Wabash Avenue man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced ttthe man's vehicle, which was traveling southbound on Harlem Road, at 70 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .16.
NOVEMBER 8
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 31- year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police stopped the man's vehicle, which was traveling southbound on Harlem Road, for a traffic infraction. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed a victim in the passenger's seat who had a stay-away order of protection against the man.
LARCENY...A 32-year-old Kilbourne Drive woman was arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria store on a report of credit card fraud. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated the woman, who is a store employee, made several fraudulent returns and took $740.
NOVEMBER 9
ASSAULT...A 26-year-old Parwood Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man grabbed the victim by her hair, then threw her against a wall and punched her face. An officer observed that the victim's nose was bleeding.
POSSESSION/TAMPERING... A 31-year-old Attica woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the corner of Broadway and Lackawanna Avenue after Buffalo Police stopped the woman's vehicle for a traffic infraction. Upon arrival, police observed the woman smash an alleged "crack" pipe on the street. An officer also located alleged "crack" cocaine in the woman's back pocket.
ASSAULT...A 30-year-old Strasbourg Drive man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that the man punched her during an argument. Police observed swelling to the victim's face.
NOVEMBER 10
DWI...A 30-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle "fishtail" in and out of a lane while traveling from Harlem Road onto William Street. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .19.
POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police stopped the man's vehicle, which was traveling on Cayuga Road near Ellen Drive, for a traffic infraction. The man later stated he had marijuana in his pants pocket, where an officer located a plastic bag containing the alleged item.
POSSESSION...A 25-year-old Buffalo man and 29-year-old East Melcourt Drive man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 25-year-old traveling westbound on Genesee Street with an inadequately illuminated brake light. A traffic stop was initiated and an officer observed a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana, as well as a glass pipe containing alleged marijuana, in the center console. During a search of the vehicle, police also located alleged cocaine in a glassine bag, as well as a tin box containing alleged cocaine residue. During the booking process, police observed alleged cocaine residue on the 29-year-old's nostrils.
THEFT OF SERVICES... A 19- year-old Amherst man and 20-year-old Tonawanda man were arrested after police responded to a Burke Drive residence on a report of a suspicious occurrence. Upon an officer's arrival, a taxicab driver stated the Amherst man and the Tonawanda man exited the cab after the driver transported them to the address, but then did not return to pay the cab fare, which was $55.50. Police later located the two at a Calderwood Drive address, and the Amherst man reportedly attempted to flee the scene before he was apprehended.
ROBBERY...An 18-year-old woman and 21-year-old man, both of Claudette Court, were arrested after police responded to a Union Road department store on a report of shoplifters fighting with security. Upon arrival, police observed a security guard pinning the 18- year-old on the ground. The 21-year-old reportedly yelled profanities while being escorted to a patrol car. A complainant stated he observed the women conceal several video games and a DVD in their pants and attempt to exit the store without paying for the items. The complainant then caught the two and wrestled them to the ground until police arrived.
LARCENY...A 20-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue department store on a report of a larceny. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated that the woman, who is a store employee, put assorted merchandise valued at $875 into a nearby box without listing the items on a contract during a layaway return process.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 35- year-old Rowman Road woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the woman slashed a tire on her vehicle.
NOVEMBER 11
THEFT OF SERVICES...A 38- year-old Trent Square man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of an unpaid cab fare. Upon an officer's arrival, a taxicab driver stated the man exited the cab and did not return to pay the driver after being transported home. Police then located the man inside his residence.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/ POSSESSION...A 19-year-old Princeton Avenue, Depew woman and 18-year-old Ellen Drive woman were arrested after police responded to a Dick Road hotel on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, the 18-yearold stated she had fought with Hendel and that the 19-year-old had "kicked out" The 18-year-old from a room. Police observed a "mess" in the 19-yearold's room that included food, garbage and broken property. A hotel manager stated the damage totalled approximately $250. Police also located two alleged "crack" pipes under a mattress.
CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 45- year-old Carefree Lane man was arrested after police responded to a William Street address on a report of an order of protection violation. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man made an obscene gesture toward the victim and called the victim an obscene name. A background check revealed the victim had an order of protection against the man. Police located the man on the corner of William Street and Harlem Road.
THEFT OF SERVICES... A 23- year-old Alden man was arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria restaurant on a report of a customer not paying for food. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated the man ordered $15 worth of food, then took the meal without paying. Police then located the man nearby.
ASSAULT...A 39-year-old Williamstowne Court man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of an assault. Upon arrival, an officer observed a victim bleeding from her face. Police believed the man had injured the victim and later located him at another Williamstowne residence.
HARASSMENT...A 26-year-old Gaby Lane man was arrested after police responded to a 9-1-1 call at the man's address. Upon arrival, an officer observed redness on a victim's neck. The victim stated the man had choked her and pushed her into a fan.

NOVEMBER 4
DWI...A 48-year-old George Urban Boulevard, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the area of French and Transit roads on a report of an accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man's vehicle rear-ended the victim's vehicle on Transit Road. Police located the man at his residence and the man reportedly stated, "I'm drunk," as well as that he was "involved in an accident, but there was no damage done." Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused. A background check revealed the man had a previous DWI conviction last August, making this arrest a felony.
NOVEMBER 8
DWI...A 40-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle cross over double yellow lines while traveling northbound on Transit Road. A traffic stop was initiated on Rumford Street and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .23. A background check revealed the man had a previous DWI conviction in January 2000, making this arrest a felony.
