OCTOBER 22

POSSESSION...A 41-year-old Eden man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a suspicious vehicle behind a Ludington Street address. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed the man smoking alleged "crack" cocaine and located an alleged "crack" pipe.

POSSESSION...A 25-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to the corner of Walden and Hedwig avenues on a report of possible drug activity. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description of being involved in drug sales, acting suspiciously. During a pat search, police located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana and a plastic container with alleged marijuana in the man's pants pocket.

POSSESSION OF BURGLAR TOOLS...An 18-year-old Buffalo was arrested after police responded to a Kenville Road address on a report of a suspicious person entering vehicles. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, pushing a bicycle. A witness stated he saw the man enter a vehicle earlier. Police located a tire iron, which is commonly used in committing burglaries, in the man's possession.

POSSESSION...A 45-year-old Lancaster man and 33-year-old Main Street, Depew man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the 45-year-old traveling westbound on Broadway with a bent, hanging license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed the vehicle's license plates belonged to another vehicle. During a pat search, police located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in a tin can inside the 45-year-old's front pants pocket.

DWI...A 34-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Ludwig Avenue location on a report of a suspicious vehicle. Police located the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, and initiated a traffic stop. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot eyes and "slightly slurred" speech. The man reportedly stated he had been at a Sloan tavern earlier and that he was "driving a friend home." Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .12.

OBSTRUCTING GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION/ POSSESSION...A Ludwig Avenue woman with no age given was arrested after police responded to a Ludwig address on a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, police observed the woman in a vehicle. When police asked the woman to step out of her vehicle, the woman reportedly attempted to knock an officer's flashlight out of his hand. The woman then struggled with police, who located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the woman's purse.

HARASSMENT...A 48-year-old Poinciana Parkway man was arrested after police responded to a Poinciana residence on a report of an ongoing neighbor dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man repeatedly threw garbage and tree branches in the victim's yard. The man allegedly told the victim, "You'll get yours," and that he was "going to have the victim taken care of, even if he goes to jail."

ASSAULT...A 54-year-old North Pleasant Parkway woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the woman hit the victim in the back of her head, causing a small cut.

UNLAWFUL IMPRISONMENT... A 20-year-old Kenville Road man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man refused to let her leave his residence, grabbing her and making her stay for one and one-half hours before the victim escaped.

FALSE PERSONATION... A 43- year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police stopped a vehicle, in which the woman was a passenger, for a traffic infraction. The woman reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth, but a background check revealed the woman's actual identity.

OCTOBER 23

ASSAULT...A 23-year-old Tonawanda man was arrested after police responded to a Kenville Road address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man slapped her several times and punched her eye. The man also allegedly threw the victim and began to choke her before police arrived.

TRESPASSING...A 39-year-old Williamstowne Court man was arrested after police responded to a Glenwood Court address on a report of trespassing. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, in a vacant residence. The man stated he previously lived at the address, but a property manager reportedly stated the man was not allowed at the location.

DWI...A 54-year-old Primrose Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the area of Genesee Street near Union Road on a report of an erratic driver. A witness stated the man struck cones with his vehicle and disobeyed traffic signal devices. Police located the man's vehicle on Union Road and initiated a traffic stop, but the man's vehicle reportedly kept traveling before striking another vehicle. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .08.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 24-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Thruway Plaza store on a report of a "chaotic crowd." Upon arrival, police observed the woman among several individuals who were shouting profanities toward police. The woman reportedly ignored officers' requests to stop yelling, and several passers-by stated they would "never come back to the store because it's too dangerous." The woman reportedly continued shouting profanities and was taken into custody.

HARASSMENT...A 40-year-old Broadway man was arrested after police responded to Wallace Avenue on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man, who was reportedly intoxicated, pushed and threatened the victim. The man reportedly told the victim he "had somewhere to put (the victim) that nobody will find," and that he would "bury (the victim) out back."

OCTOBER 24

POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Campbell Road man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Eggert Road with darkly tinted windows. A trafwoman fic stop was initiated and a background check revealed the man's license was suspended. During the booking process, an officer located an Ecstasy pill in the man's left shoe.

POSSESSION/DISORDERLY CONDUCT...An 18-year-old Claudette Court woman was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a fight. Upon arrival, police observed several persons who were under the age of 21 possibly consuming alcohol. An officer observed in plain view two marijuana pipes with residue in the living room. After police took the woman into custody, the woman reportedly struggled with officers and shouted profanities.

OCTOBER 25

POSSESSION...A 51-year-old Banko Drive, Depew man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a Genesee Street address on a report of a dispute. When an officer arrived and conducted a pat search, he located several Lortab pills in the man's possession.

ASSAULT...A 37-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Sebring Drive address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the woman, who was reportedly intoxicated, punched the victim in her chin.

OCTOBER 26

POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Gary Lane woman and 28-year-old Calumet Street, Depew man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the woman traveling on French Road with darkly tinted windows. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the interior. During a search of the vehicle, police found alleged marijuana on the front passenger's seat.

DRIVING AFTER ALCOHOL CONSUMED...An 18-year-old Alden man was arrested after police responded to the area of Genesee Street and Tadio Parkway on a report of an intoxicated driver. Police located the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, traveling on Genesee and initiated a traffic stop. Upon interviewing the man an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .17.

DWI...A 23-year-old Amherst

was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling westbound on Aero Drive with inadequately illuminated headlights and without a front license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .12.

DWI...A 44-year-old Jessica Lane man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the corner of Tadio Parkway and Genesee Street for an accident in which the man's vehicle was involved. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated the man's vehicle struck the witness's vehicle. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .16.

TRESPASSING...A 46-year-old Lancaster man was arrested after police responded to a French Road restaurant on a report of customer trouble. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, behind the counter in an employees-only area. A manager stated the man was upset about being charged for certain items and jumped over the work counter. The man then allegedly began throwing food at the manager before police arrived.

DWI...A 20-year-old Slate Creek Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle exit the New York State Thruway onto William Street, then swerve between lanes. Police radar paced the man's vehicle traveling at 50 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone while traveling on William, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

OCTOBER 27

PROMOTING PROSTITUTION... A 34-year-old man and yearold woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue gas station on a report of a suspicious male. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated the man knocked on the witness's vehicle and asked if the witness would "like some company for a while," stating he "had a girl who he could bring right over." The witness, who

said he "wasn't interested," stated he observed the man knocking on doors of other vehicles and then enter a vehicle with the woman before police arrived.

DWI...A 49-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to a Genesee Street location on a report of an erratic driver. Police observed the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, traveling westbound on Genesee with only one headlight illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: refused. Breath test: .29.

RESISTING ARREST... A 40-yearold Windwood Court man was arrested after police responded to a Harlem Road convenience store on a report of customer trouble. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man threw hot coffee on her, then left the store. Police located the man on the corner of Harlem and Genesee Street, where the man reportedly jumped in front of a patrol car and yelled for officers to "shoot him." Police then had to physically subdue the man.

OCTOBER 28

DWI...A 21-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle traveling 65 miles per hour in a 45 mph speed zone while heading northbound on Transit Road. A traffic stop was initiated near Gould Avenue and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .17. A background check revealed the man had a previous DWI conviction in Lackawanna in June 2005, making this arrest a felony.

CRIMINAL NUISANCE... A 56- year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Union Road store on a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, police believed the woman became upset when a victim reached across the woman's shopping cart to grab an item on a shelf. The woman reportedly sprayed the victim with an unreported substance, kicked the victim's abdomen and threatened to stab the victim with a pen.

POSSESSION...An 18-year-old Tonawanda man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with inadequate brake lights. A traffic stop was initiated and both the man and a passenger told conflicting accounts of their previous whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged marijuana, an alleged marijuana cigarette and a smoking pipe.

DEPEW

OCTOBER 25

DWI...A 38-year-old Helen Street woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle swerve between lanes several times while traveling westbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .20.

DWI...A 25-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerve between lanes several times while traveling eastbound on Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated near Bowen Road and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and "impaired" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test.

POSSESSION...A 26-year-old Caledonia, Ohio man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle travel though a store parking lot while traveling on Walden Avenue after store hours. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior. The man then handed an officer a small plastic bag containing alleged marijuana.

POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Lancaster woman was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to an accident at an Airview Terrace location, in which the woman's vehicle was involved. The woman reportedly took a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana from her vehicle's center console and handed it to an officer.
