READING CHALLENGE... The students in preschool through eighth grade at Mary Queen of Angels School are taking part in a Reading Challenge, which encourages the children to read more books. Each time a child completes a book, a piece is added to a bookworm that will encircle the entire school. The first goal was met recently. The children completed more than 250 books before the end of September. As a reward, the entire school body gathered to watch a movie in the school gym. The next goal is 750 books. Third graders Sarah Manolopoulos, Vanessa Lester, and Madison Fenno, show off "Booker," their Reading Challenge bookworm.
