SEPTEMBER 24
EXPOSURE...An 18-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police observed the man urinating on bushes in Union Road parking lot.
DWI...A 27-year-old Mann Street, Sloan man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle traveling 52 miles per hour in a 40 mph speed zone while heading northbound on Union Road. Police also observed the man's vehicle cross over double yellow lines several times. Police then initiated a traffic stop. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "somewhat slurred" speech.The man reportedly stated he had consumed "two to three" beers at a Buffalo tavern. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .15. A background check revealed the man had a previous DWI conviction in 2002, making this arrest a felony.
SEPTEMBER 25
RESISTING ARREST/CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON...Two 38-year-old women, both of William Street, were arrested after police responded to the first 38- year-old's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the first 38-year-old began yelling at her and sprayed her with a garden hose. The first 38-year-old was reportedly uncooperative with police and had to be physically taken into custody. Thhe second 38-year-old allegedly threatened to strike the victim with a billy club, which police located at the scene.
POSSESSION...A 19-year-old Crocker Street, Sloan man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Broadway with a loud muffler. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected an odor of alleged marijuana coming from the interior. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located alleged marijuana and an alleged marijuana pipe under the center console.
SEPTEMBER 26
DWI...A 25-year-old Sunset Road man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerve over double yellow lines without its headlights illuminated, while traveling westbound on Genesee Street near Beach Road. A traffic stop was initiated near Wheaton Drive and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .19.
POSSESSION...A 41-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man, who was wanted on several arrest warrants, operating his vehicle on Harlem Road near Broadway. A traffic stop was initiated and during a pat search, an officer located a plastic bag containing alleged cocaine in the man's back pocket.
POSSESSION...A 30-year-old Penora Street, Depew man and a 41- year-old Alden woman were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the man traveling eastbound on Broadway with its driver's view obstructed. A traffic stop was initiated and both the man and woman reportedly told conflicting accounts of their whereabouts. The man later admitted to "buying drugs in the city." With assistance from a K-9 unit, police located alleged "crack" cocaine and two alleged "crack" pipes inside a pocket of the front seat of the vehicle.
SEPTEMBER 27
ASSAULT...A 59-year-old Loxley Road man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated that during an argument, the man grabbed the victim by her neck and choked her. Police observed fingerprints on the victim's neck and took the man into custody.
TRESPASSING...A 21-year-old woman and 29-year-old man, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police responded to a Union Road address on a report of a disturbance. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated the woman and man, who reportedly attempted to "sell cookies for their own profit," refused to leave the location, even after the complainant asked them to do so. The man also allegedly stated he would "shoot" the victim.
POSSESSION...A 19-year-old Lancaster man and 26-year-old George Street, Depew man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle driven by the 19-year-old traveling southbound on Pine Ridge Road with its driver's view obstructed. A traffic stop was initiated and the 19-year-old reportedly gave conflicting accounts of his and the 26-yearold's whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, police located four plastic bags containing alleged marijuana under the back seat.
FALSE PERSONATION... A 34- year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police observed the man and woman in a vehicle that had broken down in the center lane of Walden Avenue. When an officer approached the vehicle, the man reportedly started walking away from the scene before police caught him. Both the man and woman reportedly gave police false names, but a background check revealed their actual identities and that the woman had two outstanding arrest warrants.
POSSESSION...A 30-year-old man and 30-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the man traveling eastbound on Genesee Street without its rear license plate illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated near East End Avenue and a background check revealed the vehicle's registration was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, police located seven grams of alleged "crack" cocaine, a plastic bag containing several Levitra pills and two plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in the center console.
SEPTEMBER 28
POSSESSION...A 23-year-old man and 26-year-old man, both of Windwood Court, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the pair's residence after an investigation revealed the men were involved in cocaine use and dealing at the location. Police executed a search warrant and forced entry through a rear door of the residence. Officers located alleged cocaine, two alleged "crack" pipes, two bags containing alleged marijuana, a spoon and a scale inside the residence.
POSSESSION...A 37-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police stopped the woman's vehicle, which was traveling northbound on Woodell Avenue, for a traffic infraction. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed the woman making "furtive
movements." The woman reportedly told police conflicting accounts of her whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located an alleged "crack" pipe with residue.
SEPTEMBER 29
DWI...A 54-year-old Toelsin Road man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle cross over double yellow lines while turning from George Urban Boulevard onto Union Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The man reportedly told police he was taking several medications, including Lorazepan and Radioactive Iodine. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .04.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 22-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police observed the man standing outside of a vehicle that was blocking a bus and other vehicles on the corner of Gruner and Harlem roads. The man also reportedly threw his arms in the air and shouted profanities at the bus driver, who had sounded his horn. After the man finally got into his vehicle, an officer initiated a traffic stop. The man reportedly told police he was angry with the bus driver because "he shouldn't have beeped."
POSSESSION...A 27-year-old Cuba, New York woman and 26-yearold Castile woman were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the woman traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue with its driver's view obstructed by a pair of novelty sneakers hanging from the rear view mirror. A traffic stop was initiated near Thruway Plaza and the woman was unable to produce any identification. The woman later handed an officer a folded paper from her bra, which contained 1,800 milligrams of alleged "crack" cocaine. A background check revealed the woman's license was suspended. During a search of the vehicle, police located a small quantity of alleged "crack" cocaine on the front seat in which the man had been sitting.
POSSESSION...A 33-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Eggert Road with darkly tinted windows. A traffic stop was initiated and the man reportedly told conflicting accounts of his whereabouts. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located an unknown pill in the driver's side door panel, as well as 11 plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in a packet behind the front passenger's seat and $605 in the center console.
SEPTEMBER 30
POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL UNDER THE AGE OF 21...An 18- year-old Susan Drive, Depew man was arrested after police radar paced a vehicle in which the man was a passenger traveling 50 mph in a 30 mph speed zone while heading southbound on Transit Road. A traffic stop was initiated and an officer observed that the man had vomited on himself. The man reportedly stated he had consumed alcohol at a Buffalo tavern, and that his friend was driving his vehicle home. An officer observed a bottle of vodka sticking out from the back of the front passenger's seat. The man reportedly admitted to owning the alcohol.
DWI/POSSESSION...A 28-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession
of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle swerving between lanes while traveling on Walden Avenue near the New York State Thruway. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: .14. Breath test: refused. Police also located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the center console.
DRIVING AFTER ALCOHOL CONSUMED...A 23-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a stop sign while traveling northbound on Eggert Road near Kenville Road at a high rate of speed. A traffic stop was initiated and an officer observed a cup of alcohol on the driver's side floor board. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .15.
OBSTRUCTING GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION... A 4- year-old Campbell Road woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, the woman, who was reportedly intoxicated, was uncooperative with police and screamed profanities. The woman also allegedly stood in front of an officer and stated "she didn't need police in her house." The officer had to physically push past the woman in order to re-enter the residence.

SEPTEMBER 27
DWI...A 24-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle strike a curb while traveling southbound from Transit Road onto Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .24.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 27-year-old George Urban Boulevard, Depew man was arrested after police responded to the area of Transit Road near French Road on a report of a male yelling at and disrupting traffic. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated the man had disrupted traffic while standing on the side of the road with his pants down. Police located the man in front of a Transit convenience store.
ASSAULT...A 19-year-old Penora Street, Depew man was arrested after police responded to the man's address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man attacked him and struck him over his head with a stick. The man also allegedly hit the victim's right arm with a metal baseball bat. A witness confirmed the victim's account.
DWI...An 18-year-old Penora Street, Depew man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle swerve between lanes several times while traveling southbound on Transit Road. A traffic stop was initiated on Como Park Boulevard and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .22.
