SEPTEMBER 10

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 39-year-old Griffith Street, Sloan man was arrested after police responded to a Griffith address on a report of an unwelcome guest. Upon an officer's arrival, the man, who had allegedly refused to "leave a victim alone," told police he was "getting his mail," and that he "wanted to sit on his porch for a while." After police advised the man to stay away from the victim, the man reportedly yelled at the victim and ran toward the victim's residence.

DWI...A 25-year-old Windwood Court woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle cross over double yellow lines while traveling southbound on Union Road. A traffic stop was initiated near French Road and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .17.

MENACING...An 18-year-old Janine Court man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute in which the man had displayed a knife. Upon arrival, police observed the man outside the residence without a weapon. A victim stated he and the man got into an argument and that the man grabbed a knife and screamed at the victim before police arrived.

RESISTING ARREST...A 33-yearold Toelson Road woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's residence on a report of a female beating another female with a mop. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim outside the residence stated the woman struck her several times with a mop. The woman reportedly refused to open her front door for police and ran into a bedroom. Officers forced entry and physically subdued the woman, who reportedly resisted arrest.

MENACING...A 37-year-old Paradise Court man was arrested after police responded to the man's residence on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated she and the man got into an argument and that the man stuck a steak knife into a table. The man also allegedly told the victim, "I'll stab you in your throat."

POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police stopped the man's vehicle, which was traveling on Hoerner Avenue, for a traffic infraction. The man stated he didn't have a license or identification. During a pat search, police located a bag containing alleged marijuana in the man's possession. A background check revealed the man's license was suspended.

MENACING...A 44-year-old Genesee Street woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's address on a report of a female with a knife. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated he and the woman got into an argument and that the woman left and returned to the residence with a large kitchen knife. The woman then allegedly threatened the victim before police arrived.

POSSESSION...A 23-year-old West Seneca man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue without a front license plate. A traffic stop was initiated on the corner of Genesee Street and Normandy Avenue, and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed the man making furtive movements. The man later allegedly threw a plastic bag containing pills to the ground. During a search of the vehicle, police located a pill bottle containing several plastic bags with alleged cocaine residue.

SEPTEMBER 11

POSSESSION...A 32-year-old man, and 19-year-old man, both of Rochester, as well as a 19-year-old Buffalo man, were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police radar paced a vehicle driven by the 32-yearold, which was heading southbound on Harlem Road, traveling 41 miles per hour in a 35 mph speed zone. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the interior. Police observed an alleged marijuana cigarette in plain view between the front passenger seat and the side door. An officer also located a Methadone pill in a cigarette box in a driver's side door panel. A background check revealed the Buffalo man had three outstanding arrest warrants in Buffalo.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF... A 19year-old Meadowbrook Parkway man was arrested after police responded to a Meadowbrook address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated she and the man got into an argument and that the man later drove a vehicle into the residence, causing damage.The man was also uncooperative with police.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 37year-old Paradise Court man was arrested after police observed the man outside a suspected drug house on the corner of Broadway and Lackawanna Avenue. The man reportedly attempted to run inside the residence, then stated he was "picking up his wife." A background check revealed the man's wife has an order of protection against him.

SEPTEMBER 12

DWI...A 23-year-old Slate Creek Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the area of Genesee Street and Transit Road on a report of a male who was "slumped over" in the driver's seat of a vehicle. Upon arrival, police observed the man in the driver's seat of a vehicle. While interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The man reportedly stated he had consumed five or six pints of beer at a Buffalo tavern. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .13.

POSSESSION...A 40-year-old Jamestown woman was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling eastbound on Broadway without its headlights illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and an officer observed the woman was "partially disrobed with her breasts exposed." the woman was reportedly "cracked" out and stated, "I'm not supposed to have police contact," and that she "just smoked some 'reefer' in Buffalo." Police located an alleged "crack" pipe with alleged cocaine residue, as well as a chore boy with residue, in the woman's purse.

POSSESSION...A 24-year-old man and 20-year-old woman, both of Jackson Avenue, Sloan were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to the area of Harlem Road and Walden Avenue on a report of a possibly stolen vehicle. Police located the vehicle and it was determined that the 24-year-old had filed a false report claiming his vehicle was stolen. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a hypodermic needle and a cap containing alleged heroin. A background check revealed the 24-year-old's license was suspended. The 20-year-old reportedly gave police a false name, but a background check revealed her actual identity.

ROBBERY/THEFT OF SERVICES...A 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old female, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police responded to a Walden Avenue convenience store on a report of a robbery. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated the 22-year-old grabbed $100 from the cash register while he asked a cashier for change, then allegedly threatened to shoot the witness. the 22-year-old and the 17-year-old reportedly left the store and entered a taxicab across the street, then jumped out of the moving taxi on the corner of Euclid Avenue near Doat Street. Police located the two on Pine Ridge Road. The taxi driver reportedly stated he drove the 22year-old and the 17-year-old to a location near the store before they committed the robbery.

SEPTEMBER 13

TRESPASSING...An 18-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to Walden Galleria on a report of trespassing. Upon an officer's arrival, a mall security guard stated the man, who had been barred from the mall except for working, had been in the food court. The security guard determined the man was not scheduled to work that day and held him until police arrived.

POSSESSION...A 49-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police responded to a Harlem Road store on a report of shoplifting. Upon an officer's arrival, the store owner stated the man took meat valued at $50 and left the store without paying for the item. The owner caught the man and held him until police arrived. During a pat search, an officer located two alleged "crack" pipes in the man's right pants pocket.

DRIVING AFTER ALCOHOL CONSUMED...A 38-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police observed the woman's vehicle traveling northbound on Harlem Road with its driver's view obstructed. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Police also observed a half-full can of beer in the woman's vehicle. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .12.

POSSESSION...A 21-year-old West Seneca man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the brake lights on the man's vehicle illuminated, even though the vehicle wasn't stopping while traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and the man and other occupants in the vehicle reportedly told conflicting accounts of their whereabouts. The man later stated he had four Hydrocodone pills in the front seat, where police located the items.

SEPTEMBER 14

TRESPASSING...A 43-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after an undercover officer observed the man looking into windows of residences on Kenville Road. When officers confronted the man, he reportedly couldn't give an explanation of why he was there.

TRESPASSSING...A 65-year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to Walden Galleria on a report of a male refusing to leave and giving security " a hard time." Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, hiding behind a dumpster outside the mall. A witness stated the man had earlier entered employees only walkways.

POSSESSION...A 25-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for criminal possession of marijuana after police responded to Zent Court on a report of individuals smoking marijuana in a vehicle. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, in the driver's seat of the vehicle. An officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior. Police also observed a small plastic bag containing alleged marijuana on the man's lap. During a search of the vehicle, police located an alleged marijuana cigar in the ash tray, and later found another plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the man's left pants pocket.

LARCENY...A 31-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested after police responded to a Thruway Plaza department store on a report of a larceny. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated the woman, who is a store employee, did not charge a customer for merchandise valued at $310 as the customer passed through the check-out line.

POSSESSION...A 41-year-old Carol Drive man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling northbound on Pine Ridge Road with a loud exhaust system. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed alleged marijuana seeds and stems on the floorboards. The man later told police he had marijuana in his pants pocket, where an offficer found four plastic bags containing alleged marijuana.

POSSESSION...A 21-year-old East Amherst man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Broadway without a front license plate. A traffic stop was initiated on Harlem Road and the man reportedly appeared "extremely nervous." An officer detected an odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle, and the man stated he had bought two bags containing alleged marijuana at an acquaintance's residence. Police located the alleged items, as well as three Oxycodone pills, in an ashtray.

DWI...A 39-year-old Rochester man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the road while heading westbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The man, whose vehicle had an expired inspection sticker, reportedly stated he drank alcohol earlier at a Buffalo tavern. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test.

SEPTEMBER 15

DWI...A 26-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle traveling northbound on Towers Boulevard with only one headlight illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes. The man reportedly stated he drank two beers through a straw at a French Road tavern. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test.

DRIVING AFTER ALCOHOL CONSUMED/POSSESSION... An 18-year-old man and 17-year-old male, both of Buffalo, as well as a 17-yardold Garden Village Drive male, were arrested after police observed a vehicle driven by the 18-year-old traveling southbound on Harlem Road without a visible rear license plate. A traffic stop was initiated near Hurd Street and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior and noticed an open bottle of liquor in the center console. Upon interviewing the 18-year-old, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the 18year-old had bloodshot, glassy eyes. The 18-year-old recorded a .05 on an alco sensor and .02 on a breath test. The 17year-old Buffalo male reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth, but a background check revealed his actual identity. During a search of the vehicle, police located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana under the front passenger's seat.

SEPTEMBER 16

FALSE PERSONATION... A 19year-old Buffalo man and 21-year-old Kenmore man were arrested after police determined a vehicle parked on the side of Randolph Street had an expired registration and license plates. A background check revealed the 19-year-old, who was in the driver's seat, had a suspended license. The 21-year-old reportedly gave police a false name and date of birth, but a background check revealed his actual identity.

BURGLARY...A 27-year-old Raymond Avenue man was arrested after police responded to a Claude Drive address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated she had come home and found the man outside her residence in which, the man allegedly stated, he had "messed up" the living room. The victim stated the man was not supposed to be at her residence, and police determined the man had caused $1,600 in damages.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A WEAPON...A 33-year-old New York City man was arrested after police stopped the man's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on East Delavan Avenue, for a traffic infraction. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of alleged marijuana coming from the interior. The man reportedly stated he had smoked marijuana earlier at an acquaintance's residence. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located an alleged marijuana cigarette in the cup holder, as well as a 9millimeter gun and nine bullets between the driver's seat and the center console.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 23-year-old Glenwood Court woman and a 17-year-old Linda Drive female were arrested after police responded to Airport Plaza on a report of a fight. Upon arrival, police broke up an altercation in which the woman and the 17-year-old were involved. The woman and the 17year-old reportedly used profanity, and the 17-year-old allegedly attempted to enter a vehicle. The two also reportedly kicked and struggled with officers while screaming profanities until they were physically subdued.

EXPOSURE...A 37-year-old Harlem Road man was arrested after police responded to a Sierra Drive address on a report of a male exposing himself. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated the man exposed himself while urinating on the side of a residence. The man reportedly ran from the scene before being apprehended by police.

DWI...A 28-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a red light while traveling eastbound on Walden Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated near Rossiter Avenue and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .13.
