Denver Broncos rookie defensive end Antwon Burton, a 2001 graduate of Cleveland Hill High School, survived the first round of National Football League cuts Tuesday. The undrafted free agent, who played his college ball at Erie Community College and Temple University, did not record a tackle in Denver's 17-14 preseason win over Houston on Sunday. The NFL's final cutdown date is Saturday, when teams narrow their rosters down to 53 players.
