UNDEFEATED...
Pictured here, the Astros of the North Cheektowaga Amateur Athletic Association 13 and Under Division recently completed an undefeated (12-0) season in interleague play. Offensively, Aaron Wanat (middle row, second from right) and Jonathan Skorka contributed home runs, while Matt Debuth, Kyle Penny, Jacob Bauer and Derek Laviollette also had solid performances at the plate. Nick LaGrasso, Brandon Schertfeger and Joe Creenan played fine defense (team average of 5.5 runs allowed per game) and Danny Fox and Brian Grabiec anchored the pitching staff.
