JUNE 25

DISORDERLY CONDUCT... A 25-year-old Sable Palm Drive man was arrested after police responded to a Sable Palm address on a report of an intoxicated male. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man went to another Sable Palm address and began yelling profanities. Officers, who had been called to the residence twice earlier regarding alleged unruly behavior, located the man and took him into custody.

POSSESSION...A 21-year-old Buffalo man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle traveling southbound on Eggert Road without its passenger's side headlight illuminated. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed a large amount of smoke and a strong odor of alleged marijuana coming from the interior. During a search of the vehicle, an officer located a bag containing alleged marijuana under the front passenger seat.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 36year-old Buffalo man was arrested after police responded to a Zent Court address on a report of a dispute. Upon an officer's arrival, a complainant stated the man repeatedly attempted to "start things" with the complainant, and that the complainant was "fearful" of the man, who was allegedly getting "nasty" with the complainant. The complainant has an order of protection against the man.

POSSESSION... A 19-year-old West Seneca man and a 16-year-old West Seneca male were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police radar paced a vehicle, driven by the 19-yearold, traveling 58 miles per hour in a 35 MPH speed zone while heading westbound on French Road. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed the man and the 16-year-old "moving around a lot." Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected a strong odor of alleged marijuana coming from the interior. During a pat search, police located a bag containing alleged marijuana

and a bowl in the man's possession. Police also located another bag containing alleged marijuana under the front passenger seat.

JUNE 26

POSSESSION...A 19-year-old West Seneca man and 20-year-old Rondelay Court man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle, in which the men were occupants, traveling southbound on Union Road with darkly tinted windows and a loud exhaust. A traffic stop was initiated and police reported that both of the men were nervous. Upon approaching the vehicle, an officer detected an odor of alleged marijuana coming from the interior. Police located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana, a case of alleged marijuana and two alleged marijuana pipes in the men's possessions.

UNLAWFUL DEALING WITH A CHILD/POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL UNDER THE AGE OF 21...A 37-year-old Sierra Drive man and a 17year-old Buffalo male were arrested after police observed several youths gathered in Cedargrove Park at night. When officers approached the group, they observed a 12-pack of beer, from which the 17-year-old had allegedly been drinking. It was later determined that the 37-year-old had purchased and provided the beer. Police located the 37-year-old at a Kingswood Drive residence and took him into custody.

DWI/AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION...A 46-yearold Gould Avenue, Depew man was arrested after police observed the man's vehicle spin out and strike an exit sign while traveling westbound on the Kensington Expressway. A traffic stop was initiated and the man, who was unable to show police his identification, admitted that he had consumed "a few" drinks earlier. An officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on the man and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and "heavily slurred" speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the man refused both an alco sensor and breath test.

POSSESSION/HARASSMENT... A 20-year-old Vern Lane man was arrested after police responded to a Union Road convenience store on a report of a suspicious male. Upon arrival, police observed the man, who matched the report's description, standing near a vehicle that was a few houses away from the store. The man was reportedly uncooperative

with police, refusing to place his hands on a patrol car to allow officers to search him for weapons. The man then reportedly shoved an officer and was taken into custody. Police later located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana and an alleged marijuana pipe in the man's possession.

POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Groell Avenue man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed a vehicle in which the man was a passenger traveling eastbound on Doat Street with a loud exhaust. A traffic stop was initiated and police observed in plain view alleged marijuana on the floor of the vehicle. The man reportedly stated he had another bag containing alleged marijuana in the vehicle's trunk. Officers located a bag containing three small bags of alleged marijuana in the trunk.

JUNE 27

POSSESSION...A 36-year-old Woodell Avenue man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man attempt to lie across the front seat of his vehicle, which was in an Alexander Avenue parking lot, when the man observed a patrol car. Police also observed the man making "furtive movements" under the front seat. During a pat search, an officer detected an odor of alleged marijuana and located a small plastic bag containing alleged marijuana, as well as an alleged marijuana pipe, in the man's front pants pocket. During a search of the vehicle, police found a small plastic bag containing alleged cocaine on the passenger's side floor, as well as a spoon and alleged "crack" pipe under the front seat.

POSSESSION...A 20-year-old Pendlewood Drive man and 20-year-old Buffalo man were arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police responded to a Pendlewood Drive address on a report of a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, police observed the men walking out of the garage area of the residence. Officers later discovered that the Pendlewood Drive man resided at the location. During questioning, officers observed a small plastic bag containing alleged marijuana and a glass pipe near both individuals.

JUNE 28

DWI...A 36-year-old Williamsville woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle drift into the shoulder lane several times while traveling westbound on Clinton Street near Harlem Road. A traffic stop was initiated and the woman reportedly stated she was "looking for her friend" and that she was "on a cell phone." Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .17.

POSSESSION...A 38-year-old Lancaster man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man reportedly "staggering westbound on Genesee Street without a shirt on." When police approached the man, who was reportedly intoxicated, the man supposedly stated, "I'm not going to lie to you, I've got a bag of weed." An officer located alleged marijuana in the man's pants pocket and placed him into custody.

AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT... A 41-year-old Pendlewood Drive woman was arrested after police responded to a Union Road address on a report of harassment. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the woman had called the victim and made threats because the woman reportedly felt the victim had "taken too long to make repairs" on the woman's vehicle. Police located the woman at her residence and took her into custody.

POSSESSION...A 19-year-old Mildred Drive man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the manb inside a vehicle on Windwood Court. When police drove by in a patrol car, the man reportedly jumped out of the vehicle and attempted to enter a Windwood residence. the man reportedly attempted to avoid police and tossed an alleged marijuana pipe and two bags containing alleged marijuana inside a Windwood doorway. Police confiscated the items and took the man into custody.

POSSESSION...An 18-year-old Lockport man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle fail to yield the right-of-way on East End Avenue near Genesee Street. A traffic stop was initiated on Adlon Place and police observed the man making "furtive movements" on the side of the driver's seat. An officer observed a plastic sandwich bag containing alleged marijuana on the side of the driver's seat.

JUNE 29

BURGLARY/CRIMINAL CONTEMPT...A 45-year-old Glenwood Court man was arrested after police responded to a Glenwood address on a report of an order of protection violation. Upon arrival, police found the man inside a victim's residence. The victim, who has an order of protection against the man, stated she had asked the man to leave the residence several times before police arrived.

DWI...A 22-year-old Anna Court man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed Smith inspecting tires on his vehicle, which was facing northbound on Beach Road near Cleveland Drive with its four-way flashers activated. Upon interviewing the man, who reportedly stated his vehicle had struck a pothole, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .07.

DWI...A 33-year-old Penwood Drive man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to Penwood on a report of an erratic driver. Police located the man's vehicle, which matched the report's description, traveling eastbound on French Road and then onto Brentwood and Bronx drives. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .25. A background check revealed the man had previous DWI convictions in 1994 and 2001, making this arrest a felony.

JUNE 30

DWI...A 33-year-old Cayuga Creek Road woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the woman's vehicle cross over double yellow lines while traveling southbound on Harlem Road, nearly striking a patrol car. A traffic stop was initiated on Cayuga Creek Road and upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and the woman refused both an alco sensor and breath test. A background check revealed the woman had a previous DWI conviction in 1998, making this arrest a felony.

DWI...A 36-year-old Buffalo woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to an accident on Industrial Parkway in which the woman's vehicle was involved. Upon arrival,

police observed that the woman had been injured in the accident and that she was unable to perform field sobriety tests. Upon interviewing the woman, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the woman had slurred speech. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: refused.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY...A 21-year-old woman and 35-year-old woman, both of Buffalo, were arrested after police responded to a Walden Galleria store on a report of stolen items. Upon arrival, police observed mall security with the women, who reportedly stole two pairs of sneakers valued at $130. A witness reportedly told police she observed the women take the items from the store and place them into a shopping bag, where officers located the sneakers. The 21year-old allegedly gave police a false name, but the 21-year-old's mother told officers the 21-year-old's actual identity.

JULY 1

POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Seminole Parkway man was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana after police observed the man's vehicle pass through a red light while traveling on George Urban Boulevard near Cherokee Drive with an inadequate muffler. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the vehicle, an officer observed alleged marijuana leaves in the driver's side door handle. During a search of the vehicle, police located two plastic bags containing alleged marijuana in the center console.

DRIVING WITH A .08 BAC...An 18-year-old Williamsville man was arrested after police radar paced the man's vehicle on Harlem Road traveling 85 MPH from near McNaughton Avenue to Thruway Plaza. A traffic stop was initiated near William Street and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .09.

DWI...A 20-year-old Sandy Lane man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police radar paced the man's vehicle traveling 52 MPH in a 35 MPH speed zone while heading northbound on Borden Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. The man reportedly stated he had consumed four beers at his residence. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .14.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT... A 32

year-old Roxborough Drive man was arrested after police responded to an Ivanhoe Road address on a report of a male attempting to enter a residence. Upon an officer's arrival, a victim stated the man had earlier called the victim's cellular phone and left messages containing profanities. The victim, who has a stay-away order of protection against the man, alleged the man also came to the victim's residence later and left before police arrived. Police located the man at his residence.

POSSESSION...A 22-year-old Windwood Court man was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed the man not wearing a seatbelt while operating his vehicle eastbound on Cedargrove Circle. A traffic stop was initiated and a background check revealed the man had an outstanding arrest warrant in Buffalo. During a search of the vehicle, police located an alleged marijuana "blunt" in the passenger's side door panel. During a pat search, an officer found alleged "crack" cocaine in the man's left sock.

POSSESSION/RESISTING ARREST...A 21-year-old Erie, Pennsylvania man and 20-year-old Buffalo man were arrested after police responded to an Alpine Place residence on a report of a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, police observed the men, who matched the report's description, in a vehicle near the residence. The 20-yearold, who noticed a patrol car, reportedly ran from the location before officers apprehended him on the corner of Crossman Drive and Pennock Place. Police determined a robbery had not taken place at the location, but observed alleged marijuana inside the vehicle in which the men had been sitting.

POSSESSION...A 23-year-old West Seneca man and 25-year-old Grand Island man were arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance after police observed a vehicle driven by the 23-year-old traveling westbound on Bennett Road with darkly tinted windows and its driver's view obstructed by several air fresheners. A traffic stop was initiated and during a pat search, police located a plastic bag containing alleged marijuana in the 23-year-old's front pants pocket. During a search of the vehicle, police located an alleged marijuana pipe and a cigarette pack containing five Hydrocodone tablets in the driver's side door panel.

UNREASONABLE NOISE... A 37year-old Fonda Drive woman was arrested after police responded to the woman's residence on a report of loud

music. Police, who had reportedly been at the woman's residence several times in the past for loud music complaints, observed "excessively loud" music coming from speakers on the woman's garage. The speakers were reportedly mounted higher than the security fence around the garage.

TRESPASSING...A 20-year-old Patrick Lane man was arrested after police responded to a Union Road address on a report of a possible burglary in progress. Upon an officer's arrival, a witness stated the man had set off an alarm and had run from the loading dock area before police arrived. Officers located the man, who was covered with grass stains, in the parking lot of the Maryvale Middle School building. The witness identified the man as having been at the Union address earlier and police placed Friel into custody.

DWI...A 58-year-old Holland man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police responded to the area of Broadway and Indian roads on a report of a vehicle striking a pole. Upon arrival, police observed the man's vehicle, which reportedly had windshield damage consistent with a driver's head striking it. A complainant stated that he observed the man and another male walking away from the scene on a hill near Broadway. Officers later located the man and the male, who was a passenger in the man's vehicle, at a Transit Road coffee shop. Police determined that the man had operated his vehicle earlier and had been involved in the accident. Upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .03.

JUNE 30

DWI...A 48-year-old George Urban Boulevard man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after police observed the man's vehicle strike a curb while traveling southbound on Transit Road. A traffic stop was initiated and upon interviewing the man, an officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and noticed the man had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered. Alco sensor: positive. Breath test: .27.
