Bourdette, Nazzarett win in school elections
Breaking News - May 15, 2007, 9:45 p.m.
Margaret Bourdette was re-elected as a trustee on the Maryvale Board of Education in district-wide voting Tuesday, and Paul Nazzarett Jr. was elected in the Cheektowaga Central district.
Bourdette defeated challenger Robert Stalker. Nazzarett, a Cheektowaga police officer, defeated Mitch Martin and Mark Czaplicki.
In local school budget results, the Maryvale, Cheektowaga-Sloan and Cheektowaga Central budgets were all approved. Results from Cleveland Hill, Depew, Lancaster and West Seneca were not available at this time.
Update at 9:57 p.m.: Cleveland Hill's budget was approved.
Update at 10:19 p.m.: Depew and West Seneca budgets were approved.
